INTP. There's one of these in the Covenant forum, I believe.
"It is not the literal past that rules us, save, possibly, in a biological sense. It is images of the past. Each new historical era mirrors itself in the picture and active mythology of its past or of a past borrowed from other cultures. It tests its sense of identity, of regress or new achievement against that past.”

These questions are very similar to those on ADD and autism spectrum tests. The personality types may be manifestations of these disorders. It implies personality is less environmental or genetic than expected. Physical factors, such as brain chemistry, diet, and fetal development may play a more important role than commonly viewed.

If you test high for internal, intuitive and thinker, test yourself for ADD. I got 81, 50, and 87 respectively and usually score above 90% on ADD tests.

In the Close actually, I think. Fun, but I can't forget that they're biased by the way we (like) to think of ourselves too.

I've changed since I last took it!

ENTJ
Extroverted 1
Intuitive 62
Thinking 75
Judging 11

Possibly because since heading off to university I've done a lot more group socialising. (only changed from I to E though, and only by a few percent)

Edit: Having just read the description, a lot of it seems very appropriate. I don't find myself quite so often in leadership positions, but I'm always making plans, and then other plans in case the first plans go wrong. I also hate being forced to go along with someone else's plans (unless I have no plan of my own which I consider better) because I don't like the idea of not being able to learn from my mistakes. That's not to say I don't like taking advice, I just want to do things my own way.

Type indicator

Post by taraswizard »

FWIW, all references here the four part typology are using the MBTI classifications (Myers Briggs Typollogy Indicator). Both women used the Jungian types as their fundamental theorectical underpinning; however, their theories, ideas and practices go beyond Jungian classifications. MBTI, as I've been told is used frequently in management training. career counseling and team building practices.

MBTI is very similar and has some reationship to Kiersey's types as explained in his books the Please understand me series.

BTW, I'm INFP.

Interesting!! I have taken the MBTI over 20 years and always come out INFP. However, the P vs. J is ALWAYS borderline!! Looks like I'm still consistent based on the score!!

I thought the questions were quite rubbish. Some of them needed more context, while others were worded ambiguously, and in others still it was obviously making an assumption about the reasons behind a particular answer, when in reality it may not be so.

I go back and forth between ENTP and INTP, but it's all very moderate, cause I'm moody and change a lot...
This time I'm INTP
22% slightly expressed introvert
25% moderately expressed intuitive personality
12% slightly expressed thinking personality
22% slightly expressed perceiving personality

But like Av said, it's biased against how you want to perceive yourself...
