We call Jerry the "defector" here in my house....but i guess he had to do what he had to do...he's still amazing.

I was upset when Steve retired...and when Joe went to the Chiefs...but that's football for ya.

Garcia is okay...he gets the job done...Owens is a hothead tho...and MOOCH!! Detroit??? UGH!!! I miss the Joe/Jerry games...

remember "The Catch"?? I have it on TAPE!!!! :)

I got that too Infelice!! I also have jerseys, Montana 16, Young 8 and Rice 80...two 9ers jackets, a couple hats..banners...9er footballs, one with a mock autograph on Montana and one with Young...

Okay...and I'll admit this...I bawled when Steve and Jerry hugged after winning the superbowl...and Steve was hugging and kissing the trophy... I'm so sappy sometimes...

Those were the days...:(

I WANT A MONTANA JERSEY!!!!!! I got a couple of caps too, one for home games and one for away games and a football but NO MOCK AUTOGRAPH!!!!!

About 10 years ago my hubby bought me a set of Montana trading cards....I know nothing about football trading cards except that these all depicted Joe at various stages thru his career and I LOVE LOVE LOVE them. I keep them in a special hard plastic case and NO ONE IS ALLOWED TO TOUCH THEM!!!!!! I use gloves when handling them.

Maybe you and I should start up a Joe Montana thread. ;)

Not to interupt the Montana love-fest but Jerry Rice is a traitor/defector. Remember the Niners cut him. They told him to leave because they wanted younger players.

Yes, Jerry's no traitor--but as Tamara and I always said "Dion" was the real traitor--surely for 9ers fans an explayer joining the Cowboys :-x is sheer blasphemy!
