But if you're all about the destination, then take a fucking flight.
We're going nowhere slowly, but we're seeing all the sights.
And we're definitely going to hell, but we'll have all the best stories to tell.

Full of the heavens and time.

Loved Rome: Total War, so this is a definite must-buy. I just hope my comp can run it, even though I upgraded last year.

For a moment, I thought you were talking about the original Medieval Total War. (Which I loved when it came out.)

But wow. This looks awesome. I stand by my assertation that the Total War series is the best strategy series ever. Although I would have preferred a new title, rather than a remake, it also gives me hope that my favourite of the series, the original Shogun:Total War will be remade for the new engine.

Now that would be truly awesome!

I had hoped for either Pride and Prejudice Total War or Depeche Mode Total War.

I'd like them to do a Napoleonic edition of the series, the naval combat would have to be greatly expanded though. I'll probably get this, even though I'm pretty rubbish at RTS in general (still haven't won a campaign in the Rome version yet).
Q. Why do Communists drink herbal tea?
A. Because proper tea is theft.

Napoleanic Total War would indeed be great, the prevelance of firearms would indeed be interesting.

There is apparently a fairly decent mod out for the original Medieval Total War that converts it to a Napoleanic scenario.

Never tried it though.

There are thousands you could come up with like a total war set in China and Japan.
DEATH IS A PREFERABLE ALTERNATIVE TO COMMUNISM!

The first one was set in feudal Japan.
