The ridiculous ceremony of pulling a rat from a tree stump has determined y'all are gonna be cold for a while longer. oh well. thought about putiing this in the announcements section but can the rat really tell the weather!?
It'd take you a long time to blow up or shoot all the sheep in this country, but one diseased banana...could kill 'em all.

Well, for once the rodent is somewhat correct. The weather folks are predicting a February that's colder than normal throughout most of the East and Northeast. In South and Midwest it'll be mostly average, and in the West it'll be above average. If you live on the East Coast, you'd better bundle up, 'cause we're in for it.

Well, it doesn't matter at all whether the "rat" sees his shadow or not for us. Here on the Mountain, winter lasts until mid June.

This has been the best winter of my adult life. I have not touched a snow shovel!
We had our biggest snowfall last night. Maybe an inch. Winter can stay as long as it wants when it's like this!!
