Just mark all posts as read, that'll get rid off them. I rely on that new mod, 'cause otherwise, because of the log-in problems I'm having, the board thinks I leave every time I change pages. So without it, I can't see where there are new posts. And since my last visit is always 30 seconds earlier...Murrin wrote:I believe it may be a consequence of the new mod. Because of the mod, the markers don't just show posts since last visit - they show all unread posts, which is a bit of a bastard if you're like me and can't stand to see orange markers everywhere even after you've gone away then come back.
Ah good, i thought i was the only one seening this.Murrin wrote:I believe it may be a consequence of the new mod. Well, if "unread posts" means "posts I haven't read", then I agree, that's a better thing to have. And you're right, if you get kicked out, it screws up your whole "since last login" thing, so this would be better.Avatar wrote:Hopefully they can bring that link back for you WayFriend, but I'll fight for the "unread Posts" mod.
I saw that one, but it's darn tedious doing that in every forum at the end of every visit.Murrin wrote:Top right in forums
Not on mine. Are you sure it's back? All I get is ... oh, now I see it, it's squeezed in there below the index and above the Who Is Online. I must have overlooked that eight times.Murrin wrote:bottom left on index.
