You could say I am in a very unique position. I am imminent of resigning from my job, and have taken stress leave due to being abused by one of the staff over a small error. Due to see a neurologist over some abnormalities, so there's that stress as well. Oh, and immersing myself in advanced biology textbook - loving it so much, and understanding it so well, that I am beginning to think I wasted most of my life on art and psychology, when I should have been following my life-long passion in biology (Variol Farseer's post on emotion/logic resonates strongly in me, suffice to say).
All in all, I am not in a good mood.

I feel great.

Off college for half term... planning a lot of stuff.

Physical condition better than ever. Kickboxing in an hour, followed by two hours of gymnastics. Wushu tomorrow... plus some tricking during the day I expect. Free running/tricking jam in Portsmouth on Wednesday (should be awesome). Probably go to another jam on Thursday or Friday (plus my normal wushu training).

I just don't understand how some people can see "exercise" as a chore or something to do to keep fit. I don't train to stay fit; I do it because I love it.

How do I feel today... heh, tired. Only two hours sleep last night, and then had work for the greater part of the day...

Other than that, I'm good. :)

I am in a rather odd and reflective mood today; really sort of taking stock of my life right now. :?

I also ran a very important errand before work tonight - I had a coupon to an upscale boutique, and I bought many pairs of very sexy panties. 8)

It is Valentine's Day tomorrow.

ABSOLUTELY FURIOUS! :x

Yesterday I was heading off in the morning to Wilson's Promotory (Eden on Earth if you ask my honest opinion) to stay there overnight there with several other people.

...Someone, who shall remain nameless, made me leave the house yesterday morning before I had found my cat and brought her inside. She is a very old cat and predominantly an indoor cat. I was PRESSURED into leaving (not that we had to get to the prom in a hurry)...pressured = the "nameless person" in the car revving it and yelling at me (and Son of Seareach getting very distressed by the "nameless person's" behaviour).

So I had no choice: I just had to give up trying to find the cat. I left some food and a box with a cushion on our back balcony for the cat...hoping the cat wouldn't get attacked by the possums that visit every night or all the other stray cats that are around.

I have come home...my cat is no where. It hasn't slept in the box. Can't tell whether it ate any of the food I left it (as the possums may have eaten it). I've spent over two hours looking for her. On the very rare occasion she's accidently been left outside overnight she's always at the door the next morning. I'm absolutely FURIOUS and upset.

Feeling equal parts accomplished and guilty. Taught Busby to pull a sled the other day - now I know he'll be alright driving - but I also made him haul people up and down hills for too long. I know he must be at least as sore as I am from it all, as neither of us are in great shape.

It is a pity I won't have a cart by the time ElohimDC comes along, or Busby and I could take folks for rides around the farm. :(

Much better! I found my cat! YAY!

I just went and did some door knocking because she still wasn't back this morning. An old lady who lives three doors down found my cat on the Monday night huddled up on the footpath in front of her house. My cat was apparently sitting in the pouring rain (!!!!) so she took it in. Lovely lady! Smudge (my cat) seems fine...although a bit miffed being taken back to my house. I think she was enjoying the break from Son of Seareach (who is a bit full-on with her sometimes).

Feeling Zen-like and stress-like. In any case, my stoicism is battling with the work factors crashing about me. Had my first test today, and it was easy; only hard part was it was very long and had an hour to do it in. I've got a second test coming up this Tuesday, been preparing for it. Got a take-home midterm that's supposed to show up online today but hasn't. Got an essay I'm going to do sometime this weekend. Got to finish reading a book next week and write a review on it.

And then there's that whole thing where I have to do everything so well that I maintain all As, while at the same time battling my innate laziness. I blame all this suffering on the laziness of my forefathers; thanks to them, I'm not rich enough to be my entropic self. Oh well, gotta keep running in the hamster wheel for the aristocrats.

I'm coming to the conclusion that the big hump of the semester is coming; after I pass it, there'll be one more around late March/April, when final projects are due and exams begin.
