Google tells me it is a PC joke started about the time of the Y2K frenzy.
One site continues the joke with "Hit any user to continue." :haha:

However, somemone not looking carefully enough might expect a more familiar list, and click "Mark all forums read" thinking it was "View unanswered posts".

Aaaanyway, I haven't had any ideas for sigs lately. Haven't had a good sig in months. I have my best av yet though, so it's alright.

Av - I'm a few months late responding, but nice one.

But if you're all about the destination, then take a fucking flight.
We're going nowhere slowly, but we're seeing all the sights.

So anyway, I was walking down the street, and all of a sudden some Luke guy popped out of nowhere! In Rome! I was like, "OMG! THAT'S LUKE!" And my head exploded. Can you believe it? I'll be right as rain once the stitches come out.

Love it. By the way, I said it. :P

It was the result from a conversation last night.

"Am I my brother's keeper?" his meek hand on devils gloves shaping running blood.

this sig on my dennisrwood account is from an unpublished Syd Barrett song.

rooftop in a thunderstorm row missing the point
syd barrett

With yellow, red and roomy food, and quivered
crouching on a golden cushion
undressed himself to disappear
through an infinity of pleasure
and smiled to free the running me
with "Am I my brother's keeper?"
his meek hand on devils gloves
shaping running blood.

The prophecy, to recreate the truth
in visions of a seasonal mood
in truth, the only sight he saw
lay hidden in the bathroom door
and spat on the rug
as high is high, so low is low
and that's the end of it.

aTOMic's signature, which I must have seen a thousand times, has just been brought to my attention in The Close, and I realised that it clearly deserves immortalisation.

Been meaning to put this one up for ages:

And congratulations. But that's for a different thread. ;)

well, you had proximity and influence to butterfly, yet not direct inspiration, the other one was
Everything Reality required to be perceived

And Described (Named) by the perceiver

Was provided by Reality Itself

And Everything the perceiver required

To Describe Reality to himself

Was provided by Reality Itself

Only to Describe Itself...

....this one was very "mundane" so to speak, I was sitting there in the Evolution thread, and word for word in my brain it went: "You know what? I bet one of Avatars problem with a "God" must be that It's ignoring him..." and naturally extended that to include a probable majority after some intro/retrospection.... ;)

and this is by no means has any kind of disparaging references within it Av, you are a perfect delight of thought and inspiration to me....if I were a moth, you would be a light bulb....? ;)
