Had some seizures this morning, so day started off crap. Started collecting 40k miniatures again (Tau & Tyranid), and happy writing, so life ain't too bad.

I've had a nagging sinus headache for three days now. I am unsure if it is my spring allergies starting to kick in, a cold I picked up from one of the kids (though come to think about it, the kid with the "cold" shares the same allergies I do, so we both might be having allergy symptoms rather than a cold), or just a reaction to the crazy weather and all of the rain we've been having. Hanging in there, though.
Spring is trying to arrive. I just walked around the yard with my dog, and we noticed that the hundreds of flower bulbs I planted last fall are starting to sprout.
It should be very lovely here over the next 2-3 months as the various flowers bloom.
Those who remember our visit with Fisty and DLB and Danlo in NYC last summer might remember how much my younger son loved the donut factory near Fist's house. With months of trying off and on I finally located one closer to our house than New York state.
We went to that red state to the south, Ohio, last night to get hot donuts off the assembly line.
My younger son was very happy.

Feel better or else damn it!Loremaster wrote:I have been feeling nauseous the last three or four days. Back at work after 4 weeks leave.

I have a pre-employment screening with the electric company in the morning,I really hope I get the job.I have been at my current job for 7 years and I feel defeated everyday I have to go to it.I loath and despise it and it takes 100% of my better judgement and sense of responsibility to get in the car every morning and drive to the acursed place.I hate it!I hate it!I hate it!

Went to Atlanta with seven of my friends to a Gilbert and Sullivan opera called "Mikado." Pretty decent. Was my first ever opera.
One of the people with us knew a staff member, who took us on a tour of the Fox Theater. He showed us to this breathtaking open-air part of the theatre, really high up; was a stellar view. Had some great food, too. Now it's 1:17 AM and I'm sipping some decaf coffee. Heading to bed soon. So glad it's spring break!

i've had this with actors before, on the set,
where they get upset about the [size of my]
trailer, and i'm always like...take my trailer,
cause... i'm from Kentucky
and that's not what we brag about.
