Queeaqueg I think should be given a chance.sgtnull wrote:that would be fun.

And perhaps Null as well.

Well you do seem to rile a lot of people up here... but I think I just go with the crowd to be honest. "Clique", one might say.sgtnull wrote:thank you Revan, that is the kindest thing you have said about me.
Uh oh . . . .Revan wrote:I'll say this straight Sgt - I doubt you will be made mod - There is far too much arguing over the matter. People here are upset with you. They won't say it straight - but they feel uncomfortable with you being a mod. Despite the fact you have stopped some of what winds them up... reputation... sticks around here. They won't forget. As I have learnt to my cost. Not moaning, I did things, and they earned me a due bad rep; and it's stuck.

EDIT: Sarge, I don't have a problem with you.
Excellent post Fist, I totally agree.Fist and Faith wrote:I think a comic forum would be cool.
I also don't see what difference the frequency of use makes. If nobody posted in it for a year, but I wanted to say something about a new comic, I'd know where to post it. What's the problem with a low-activity forum? If they aren't a problem from Vain's webmaster pov, they certainly aren't a problem from mine.
Maybe there's a way to have the forums behave the way the threads within a forum currently behave. Frequently used forums could float to the top of the main page, and the low-freq ones could sink to the bottom. That way somebody looking for an old thing would still be able to find it, but the majority of people could find the ones they're looking for without having to look through a dozen inactive forums.
Queeaqueg, you can't have a go at Sgt for his post count being high - not without having a go at me, dAN and TOM at the same time. we posted a hell of a lot in Mallory's back in the day.Queeaqueg wrote:You can't do that, Spring! T Foul would destroy you.... if she comes back.
dAN, Revan, Atomic, etc have posted a lot but they have been here longer. Sgt has two accounts and combined the post count together gives him the about 13000 posts, I think. You had the Dennis account, managed to make 4000 posts faster then anyone, got into a fight in the Tank and started to edit out your posts, left the watch and then came back and made over 9000 posts faster then any watch member. Well, that is what I see.
