Is there a way that I can turn off the displaying of Avatars altogether?

I love KevinsWatch, but the avatars drive me crazy - it makes me feel that the forums are more juvenile than they really are. I'm all for creativity, but they just seem to me to be a distraction.

Edit - But Lucimay, your Avatar can stay because its sexy ;)

if you go to internet options>advanced you should be able to uncheck "show pictures"... ;)

....but that will seriously mess you up, I just tried it, and all the buttons and crap are all pictures, I couldn't even get around....seems like a tough prob to solve....

Oh come on, it's obviously a conflagration of Lords-fire ;) I also put a sapphire in the middle, just for fun :P

It looks...........messy.
There's no definition to what I'm looking at.
Which is fine by itself.
It's very distinctive.
But when you mentioned it reminded you of Lords fire...I can't see it.

heh... ;) do you need some help? a common problem is that people either: get the URL (address) off by just one character or more; you used the URL for the "thumbnail" that points to the actual pic; or the pic is just way too huge.....there could be other probs, but those are the common ones... ;)

Esmer, wth are you talking about?
Xar, looks a little chaotic, but still, not bad, and I can see what you mean about the blue flame.

Well, nobody ever said that Lords-fire was strictly disciplined ;) Unfortunately, the fire picture I took as a starting point was larger, and changing the colors from normal fire to Lords-fire took out some of the details, regardless of my efforts in keeping them. But I wanted a conflagration, and I got one ;)

It's not how big your avatar is, it's how you use it.
