Danlo, I noticed your earlier -- much earlier -- suggestion, but that picture wouldn't render at the time (just came up as an "x"). Now I suppose I look like Captain Obvious the Redundant. Anyway, great minds think alikedanlo wrote:I agree

Ahhh yeah! I can see it now. Thomas Covenant grovels on the floor as Dirty Harry Callahan clenches his teeth and says "A man's gotta know his limitations." (or something like that--maybe throw in a "punk" or something)

But being that this is the 7th Ward of High Lord Kevin's Lore, the most powerful Lore in all the Land... and would blow your head clean off... you gotta ask yourself: do ya feel lucky. Well, do ya... You made me do it. I can't help myself. Josh Holloway as Hile Troy, for all the babe-ish, foil-y reasons. And because you can cover up half his face with wraparound sunglasses and he'll still be made of hawt.A Gunslinger wrote:Hugh Laurie as TC

(PS: What's this stuff about Troy being a decade older than Covenant? Can't remember where I read it, but it ROCKED ME TO THE CORE, I tell you. There's nothing in the text that gives me that impression. Is this meta? Did SRD say something in the GI or an appearance? Because until I hear it from the authorial mouth, I think Covenant and Troy were of an age. *Fretfully pets the woobies*

OOH I totally love Ralph Fiennes in the role. He would rule.
Earlier in this discussion someone suggested Brad Pitt for the role of Piettan and I must say that in my opinion I don't think there is any role in this series that he would be appropriate for....especially Piettan....Although I may just be soured on Brad Pitt in any epic saga film thanks to "Troy." I actually turned to my friend during the film and said, "For the love of God won't someone please make Brad Pitt stop crying!"
