Crap. Went to the doctor yesterday. Been in quite a bit of pain for the last couple of days (thought it might be my appendix). Doctor thinks it might be "cholicy appendicitis" (how ever that's spelt)...which means my beloved appendix gets blocked and then unblocked. Or, I could have kidney stones. WACKO! He said "come back if it gets worse"...well, I tell ya what, it might not be getting worse but it's annoying the f**k out of me!

I know. I'm a weirdo for being in lust with Nick Succorso. It's the 'attractive bad-boy' thing (note similar lust interest Sawyer - see the pattern? ;) ) But I kinda get where he's coming from as well...betrayal never sits well with me, either.

Poor Seareach. I hope things are improving with your pain. Drugs would be good. A proper diagnosis would be better.

Smoke a joint? ;)

Good luck LuciMay. :D You'll be fine. ;)

I feel pretty good surprisingly, if unmotivated. A bit sore, as yesterday the GF, in a bizarre frenzy of wanting to get fit, dragged me off to a nearby place to start rock climbing. I ended up enjoying it more than she did, and considering that it's the first co-ordinated excercise I've done since I stopped fencing nearly 10 years ago, I'm amazed I don't feel a lot worse.

I'm feeling overwhelmed by doing two books (plus corrections and color and who knows what else) at once - I can handle two books concurrently, but when they started asking for pages to be delivered on the same day I went a little nutso. I wept for dole and bleated to my AD so things seems to have eased off, but I still feel like I'm obliged to shoot for this impossible mark. Stressy stressy. Meh.

I'm told that the delivery address for Luci!flowers is:

Kaiser Permanente Hospital
2425 Geary Blvd.
San Francisco, CA 94115

Google listed a Kaiser Medical Center and a Kaiser Hospital at two different locations so I checked (they also said a name in lieu of a room number is fine -- just tell the florist to ask for the latter).

All this googling of San Francisco addresses makes me a little nostalgic. Ah! Divisadero! I knew thee well. But not well enough to remember the difference between Kaiser MC and Kaiser Hospital. :)

Naughty naughty boys!

I was able to sit down and talk with my boss about how best to solve the problem...that helped mellow me out considerably. I am actually working on a report now.

Ehhhh, more like a "set shot" in volleyball. You sort of lofted it up there (which was great, don't get me wrong), just waiting for the spike......
