That's so wonderful!

Sorus, thank you for the glowing pic of you and Luci. She looks well and ambulatory! Yay!
Congrats on being "cancer free"...do you ahve a period of CAT scans to endure or anything before they call you "cured"? Is this remission for you?

My brother is in remission from small cell lung cancer. he has 3 years of CATs before they call him "cured".

Happy. :P

Handed in my notice at work, oe week left in that hell whole.
But if you're all about the destination, then take a fucking flight.
We're going nowhere slowly, but we're seeing all the sights.
And we're definitely going to hell, but we'll have all the best stories to tell.

see my friend the Captain?!! isn't she wonderful!!

well i'm home! and happy to be here.

thanks so much, everyone, for the lovely flowers and well wishes.
i had an extraordinary ob/gyn team...Dr. Laurie Miller, my doc and the surgeon, Julia (med student), Dr. Kendra Fleming (who was the "Elliot Reed" of the team  ) and Dr. Hallie Morrow, the chief resident. they were wonderful women and took excellent care of me! honestly, these women were amazing and i've had an amazing experience!

i will be recovering at home for a few weeks and am feeling great.

once again, thanks so much to my Watch friends who also contributed a GREAT DEAL to the excellence of this experience...Capt Sorus Chatelain, Creator, Esmer, dAN, Lorelei, Jwaneeta and all of you.
(i'm having a Lou Gehrig moment) i feel so lucky to have all of you as friends!

and now, back to our regularly scheduled obnoxiousness...

Hey Luci! Glad it all went well for ya!! :P

Did ya get pics of your hottie nurse, cos quite frankly, it'd take a LOT to beat Josh Holloway in MY estimate of "hot"... ;)

When I was in hospital years ago with bacterial meningitis my neurosurgeon was so ABSOLUTELY divine! He would come in every day or so to see me (I was in there for about a month) and ooooh how I adored him. I was so besotted, I even let him convince me that I should let all these interns come in day after day and harrass me...I would have done anything for him! :S

And then I got better...left...and never saw him again <sigh>

LuciMay, great to have you back aboard. You'll be fine in no time, if you aren't already.
