I'm really concerned for my best friend. I rang her place four times yesterday and she didn't answer (not that I mean anything there), but she's stressed and I just hope she is okay.

Pretty crappy today.
Our can broke down last week, while driving to work--transmission is gone (I had to hich-hike the rest of the way to work after I pushed it off the road at 530 in the morning)--we still owe our mechanic from the last time we had it fixed..now it's at a transmission shop; and we'll have to pay to pick it up, and we have no money at all..
Then top it all off, our well went dry yesterday--litterally, I had just put a load of laundry on, and the pump started going crazy--I shut off the breaker, and then checked the well this morning..we have less than two feet of water in it now--and it rained all weekend.

I thought you were a ripe grape
a cabernet sauvignon
a bottle in the cellar
the kind you keep for a really long time

So sorry to hear about this. . . hope the car gets back in working order soon. As far as the well goes, I grew up in the country, and can appreciate the seriousness of having well problems. I"ll be sending good thoughts your way. . . and I'll throw in a prayer for the money situation to be taken care of.drew wrote:Pretty crappy today.

Lore, I'm glad your mother is alright.
Av... I know you are not spiritual or religious, but I am praying for your mom just the same.

If women were in charge, the military would have to do bake sales in order to buy more weapons.

Is this random, or have you been thinking about it for a while? I had been thinking about it for about 6 months, and almost had it done right before I went to Europe (since my job doesn't allow them, it would be healed enough to change studs when I returned). But then I got so busy with the trip prep that I never got it done. Now I think I've lost momentum. You've seen my nose. . . would it be inproved by a small stud?Waddley Hasselhoff wrote: I think I'm going to get my nose pierced this weekend.

I hope so as well.Waddley Hasselhoff wrote:I hope everyone's mothers are feeling well/better today.
