Wise words, Sea.Seareach wrote:Lyr, I have a friend like that--we sometimes have an extremely rocky "relationship"--but in the end we always end up making up because we're friends, because we care for each other, and even though we sometimes rake each other across hot coals, in the end we've both accepted each other's "humanity". We make mistakes, we treat each other like shit sometimes, other times we love each other in such a special and wonderful way. What I'm saying is that hopefully this friend of yours (regardless of who is "responsible") will come around. True friends usually do...sometimes it takes time. But, hey, if you can't actually name what you think you've done to make him upset and/or hurt, it can't be that mindblowingly bad (in my opinion at least).
Brave heart!
Thank you . . . I know this in my head, but sometimes there is a difference between what the head knows and what the heart feels.jwaneeta wrote:Don't blame yourself, Lyr. These things happen between people sometimes, and it really is no one's fault. There was no betrayal if you didn't intend to betray, despite how wounded his feelings are. Don't cook yourself in guilt.

On a side note, I've received word that is a strong chance I have a unique cardiac condition. I wont name the syndrome, as it's pretty private, but im going in for tests (ECG) on thursday. If it turns out I do have this disease, it means a radical life change for me - to deal with it.

I am so sorry to hear this. I will keep you in my thoughts. . . and hope against hope that all predictions are wrong.Loremaster wrote:On a side note, I've received word that is a strong chance I have a unique cardiac condition. He/She who dies with the most toys wins! Wait a minute ... I can't die!!!
this afternoon I am over it, over it, over it, over it, over it, over it, over it, over it, over it, over it, over it, over it, over it, over it, over it, over it, over it, over it, over it, over it, over it, over it, over it, over it, over it, over it, over it, over it, over it, over it, over it, over it, over it, over it, over it, over it, over it, over it, over it, over it, over it, over it, over it, over it, over it, over it, over it, over it, over it, over it, over it, over it, over it, over it, over it, over it, over it, over it, over it, over it, over it, over it, over it, over it, over it, over it, over it, over it, over it, over it, over it, over it, over it, over it, over it etc etc ad infinitum!!!

LOL! That's so funny! When I said "over it" I mean "this day has deteriorated into a f**king mess so I've had enough" or, as I would say, "I'm over it". HOWEVER your post has had me in hysterics (I sort of had a "let's go jump off a cliff" feeling happening...but...s**t, I'll banana dance instead!). You're a darl!Aelyria Mireiswen wrote:Seareach wrote:this afternoon I am over it, . . . over it, over it etc etc ad infinitum!!!
I don't know what you're talking about, but I will assume it's good, an give you a cheer. How about a banana party?

Some difficult times for some of us it seems. My thoughts and good wishes to everybody who needs them.
Things looking up a bit on my side I'm glad to say, my mother was discharged from the hospital, (Doc shook her hand and said he hadn't expected her to make it), and seems to be doing all right thankfully.
Just need to get this stuff about my brother sorted out, and my life can go back to being blessedly boring. (I hope.
)
Good luck Lore, you can handle it. And Lyr, hope your Grandfather improves. Don't worry about your friend too much...it'll work out one way or the other.
Everybody else...be safe and have fun huh?

that's for everyone who's having a really bad day...
Y'all are making me feel guilty that I'm having it so good at the moment...despite crappy weather possibly making my LOTR tour a washout (if the mountains are under cloud, how the hell am I supposed to take good photos?? GAAAAH! STUPID WEATHER!!!)
and that's all I have to complain about. Oh, other than being moved into a room full of Japanese girls who have their frakking laundry strung throughout the room...

Hope everyone has a better day today.
oh yeah, sorry Vain. You didn't hold the clouds in Auckland, so I don't owe you a thing!

have you ever tried explaining yourself

i've had this with actors before, on the set,
where they get upset about the [size of my]
trailer, and i'm always like...take my trailer,
cause... i'm from Kentucky
and that's not what we brag about.
