You are wise and good. You have no need of war. All who live, and all who will live, will eventually end up in your domain, regardless. (Unless Nor Yekith has his way, of course.)

I have no objection to this. Among Thieves and Assassins the mortality rate tends to be high. A small chapel in any city that is counted mine will be made available to your order, to use if the people will.

However I reserve the right to translate the souls of any of my worshippers that I choose directly to an exclusive paradise as an eternal reward, should I deem it fit. Those souls and bodies are sacrosanct.

Therefore your priests may not approach anybody, but must wait to be approached, for the families of those privileged few will know their loved one's reward, and not seek your aid. And of course, it must be the funeral traditions of my people which are practised. The Fey are not your humans.

If you will agree to this, then your followers are welcome. Tell them to keep a sharp eye on their purses. ;) *bows*

I am curious, if you desire other gods staying out of your areas, does this also extend to your influence? I likewise wish gods to remain out Nor Pupae unless they seek permission to enter my lands (or their followers). But I wonder if you believe the forest in my realm is your territory? If so, may I remind you it belongs to the King, and therefore it is mine.
"Oh of course," the Navigator said with faint mocking in his voice, "you have probably heard of House Praetus. We have a palace on Holy Terra. Like all powerful groups, we also have our enemies. Do you honestly think someone like you matters?" - A dissolute noble.

Nor Yekith wrote:As I understand it, I, nor the King, gave permission for you to enter Nor Pupae. As it is, I have recently been informed that a follower of another god died in my lands. Had I been aware of his presence in my lands I would have graced him as a guest. This would have included protection. How can I grant you the same when you do not inform me of your followers movements in my realm?
I was not under the impression that traveling "your realm" as you so boldly call it, required any kind of permit. Certainly not on the pain of death.

However, as a token of my boundless benevolence my prophet will leave your country, while a small band of loyal folowers remain. And why? because Nor Pupae is fertile country that thrives under my influence. An influence that is not rooted in your disgusting manipulation, but in the understanding of the inherent qualities of plants and livestock.
Nor Yekith wrote:As it is, it seems to me you are attempting to tamper with my experiments in crop mutation. Either state your business here or leave.
Not tamper, observe. Tampering is reserved as a response, in the event that more of my (peacefull) followers are molested.

Ahhh, but I never said that people would die if they entered my realm. However, I am unable to provide proper protection for those who fail to inform me of entering my lands. And do not mistake this: Nor Pupae belongs to the King, and the king holds ultimate sway over the lands. If he wishes - and he does - that people (or Gods) seek permission to enter the realm then so be it.

Disgusting manipulation? I am merely improving livestock and the crops. If such proves bountiful, then what crime have I committed?

But alas, I will offer your followers the fruits of my hospitality as long as they do not interfere in my goals.

I guide the king, the same way I guide the development of life. Look at me the same way a loving parent guides the development of a child. The King is free to rule his kingdom and I merely enrich it. Some parents are restrictive, so in this regard I almost the opposite; as long as he follows the right path, I feed his people and swell his coffers. But I do not control his mind.

Forgive me, for I assure you I mean no condemnation or criticism or insult, but I am driven to point out the delicious irony:

:LOLS: The right path being yours no doubt? ;) Truly no insult is intended...this is your right as it is everybodies. But let us at least be straightforward about it. :D

Not really a contradiction. If he does not act in my best interests, I will leave him be. My philosophy on life may be harsh, but I will not waste time or energy on leading a nation opposed to me. I sought the King out because his ideals matched mine - hence why it is fortunate I have no cause to coerce him.

A plague has swept across my lands and devastated my people. Thousands have died. This is a tragedy of great proportions. Rest assured I will waste no time in finding those responsible, and already I am following the evidence. But the game of life goes on, for those who survive have earned it.

Thus it was that the fears of many were increased when a great battle ensued between Adomorn's and Simjen's forces, in the darkened mountains of Magoddar. There, much blood was spilled, and the survivors returned to speak a tale of treachery and dishonor, of dwarrows making pacts with demonic forces, and dark assassins. Word spread, and many feared this would mark the beginning of a new Divine War.
Untrue, brothers. While a battle did occur, it was within my realm, and the first blow was not struck by my followers, nor by those of Vadhaka, who were there at my request in an observatory role. Furthermore, I had nothing to gain by it. All in all, it was a very unfortunate chain of events. I hope we can put it behind us.

As for demonic forces, while I do not know for certain what happened, I believe Morgath or a similar entity was released in the chaos. I assure you, you will all know when I do.

Peace,
-Simjen-

The first srtike was indeed caused by followers, but it was to be expected when a force of Assasins are waiting concealed next to a peace party bearing food for starving peoples and a flanking force of dwarrows were likewise hidden behind the same peace force.

I don't know why such forces were where they were, but no offense has been taken. All parties have reconciled.

Besides, the Next Divine war won't be fought amongst the forces of good. Fear not, Evil will be routed soon enough.

A perfectly understandable mistake. I too am willing to put this unfortunate event behind me. There are far more important things to worry about, and I see no reason to take it personally.

My brethren, recently a man named Chastus arrived at the gates of Avenberry and called me to battle, declaring that I am not fit to possess the divine power that I claim.

I did not choose to ascend into the heavens when I saught to escape the rivening of the earth and yet this was the result of my flight. I believe that being a deity brings great reward but also great responsibility. Since the time of my re-awakening I have made every effort to prove worthy of that responsibilty.

Therefore I ask you all if this Chastus worships one of you, or if he was sent to denounce me by one of you. I desire no vengeance if this is the case - simply that you would have the courage to voice any disatisfaction you have with me honestly and openly.

Your sister

Norn,
I would sooner discuss with you my concerns than send a warrior. Nevertheless, I did not send this "Chastus" to you. I am more concerned with fighting this plague that ravages my land and the King's people. I have no time to send champions to do my work.

I thank you both for your openness in this matter.

I will not require your services Vadhaka, although I am grateful for the offer. This Chastus desires battle, and so battle he will have. We shall see whether or not I deserve my divinity.
