Very good questions. I also like the end a lot. That and the intrigue between the MILF and the politico is interesting.sindatur wrote:Another great episode.

I can't escape the feeling that Sylar is actually female. I'm wondering if maybe Eden (The sweet girl next door that hangs out with Mohinder) is actually Sylar. We, the audience seem for the most part not to trust her.
Peter's a very interesting mutant. He can not only read emotions, but mimic powers of those he's around. I wonder if he can do multiple powers if he's around a group of them, or if he can only do one, and how that one is determined.

Why do you say that? She was on Melrose for a good 3 years, and it had already run it's course, and that Chronicle show, she was in all along. Don't know what else she's done, but, I think she came from a Soap Opera

Was watching it on Sci-Fi and wondering why they show it at 6 p.m. on Friday night. I JUST found out it's actually airing on one of the three networks (don't remember which one) on Monday night... I've missed three episodes already! So now I'm lost.
I have to catch up on these. So far, my favorite is the guy from Japan. He is just cool.

Did anyone watch any of the rebraodcast of the first 4 episodes last night? They hacked the best parts of the 1st episode out.
Noticed that for the 1st time that the african-american wjho is working for the bad guy (the cheerleaders dad) is wearing a necklace that appears to be a DNA strand. This necklace appears in the scientists data stream, and in the swimming pool of the girl rescued by the mind-reading cop in the form of the auotmatic cleaning tube(s).

I wish I had an iPod. Thanks for the pointer, BTW.

I missed the beginning of last week's episode. Is the mysterious guy with the DNA necklace the same guy from the bar whose mind was closed to Matt the cop?A Gunslinger wrote: Noticed that for the 1st time that the african-american wjho is working for the bad guy (the cheerleaders dad) is wearing a necklace that appears to be a DNA strand. Now that would be a great twist. Was there anything specific that makes you think Sylar is female? Since we've never seen Sylar, I think you might be on to something as far as a secret identity. Since we don't know much about Eden, anything's possible.
Yeah, I can't wait to see how his powers unfold. He seems harmless and likable and able to get along with anyone. He could easily get along with the other "heroes" perhaps making it easier to mimic their powers? If handled properly, he could easily be the most powerful member of the group--able do a little bit of everything.
I saw the previews for tonight's episode. Can't wait to see Hiro the Samurai! Nice.

Yep. That's the one. Do yo all think that Nikki is old enough to have supplied DNA or was perhaps a perent to Claire? She has been told of her "adoption" by her bad Dad. Experiment?sindatur wrote:Another great episode.

Heh, at this point anything's possible. I'd say Nikki is in her early thirties--old enough to be Claire's mother. Maybe Nikki's son's father is the Mysterious man with the DNA necklace.

Why do I suspect Sylar is female?
The voice on the message didn't sound normal, it sounded altered.
The quick glimpse we got of Sylar beating up on Clea Duvall, "he" seemed to have a thin profile, even wearing that overcoat.
Plus, at first I suspected Nikki's alter ego
Eden definitely seems to be hiding something, and she snuggled up to Mohinder immediately and cared alot for Chandra. Maybe exactly what it seems, but, it feels like there's more there somewhere.

If their real ages are the characters' ages, it's a slim chance.
Too bad he didn't tell you earlier, they had a marathon of all the episodes last night, you could've caught up.

Dang, ep 6 seemed to drag for me. Hiro and his bud are a great pair, though; I think they are always the highlight of the hour. Did you see how Hiro's eyes shown when he was told his future self was carrying a sword? lol

Yeah, it seemed a little slow--definitely not as much action as previous episodes. It seemed like a lot of time was spent fleshing out D.L.'s character which, in the end, was worth the wait!
I agree--Hiro and Ando are great!

I thought DL's power was going to be invisibility or possibly the ability to walk through solid objects--he hinted at that earlier in the show. I wasn't expecting anything like what he did to Nikki. Man did you see the look on her face when she realized her ass was being handed to her?! I don't think she's dead. She's simply to hot to die--I think that's her secondary super power.
