You might feel a bit less miffed if you just let the poor people off the hook, already. They already feel bad enough, I guarantee it. Make love, not war, right?
Dandelion don't tell no lies
Dandelion will make you wise
Tell me if she laughs or cries

I'm afraid there's no denying
I'm just a dandelion
a fate I don't deserve.
Actually I really AM unmiffed! Seriously. It's the day before Thanksgiving and I am thankful to be back on the watch and all is right with the world my friend. I mean that!
Now if I could just find a way to wear live bees as jewelry all the time.....

*flyingtacklehugglepounces Jenn* Yay!!!! I'm glad you're back to your happy effervescent self. . .
Jenn's in the Bedroom, and all's right with the world. . . in Fantasy Bedtime Hour, of course!
Happy Thanksgiving to all the United States citizens. . . and happy Thursday to everyone else!
I was just about to write "That's happy FRIDAY to me actually" BUT it's only Thursday. I'm going bonkers obviously!
Happy Thanksgiving to ya all over there! As Lyr said "Love and stuffing" LOL! That's so cool! Now I wish we celebrated Thanksgiving just so I could say that to all my friends!
My stomach's as ready as it will be for turkey day. Last minute shopping was not that hectic. Currently leveling out and will go jogging in about 30 minutes.
Cov Jr, here's your peptalk! Get off your rump, quit procrastinating and just write those essays already! We know you can do it! Should be a piece of cake for someone as smart and charming and handsome as you!
Did that help?
I am feeling fiesty this morning and totally full of love and later on I will be full of stuffing! I just woke up a little while ago and rolled over and gave my chubhuahua a proper belly rubbing mooseman loving morning greetings then took him out back and found it's actually SUNNY here this morning. Then I came back in and started the coffee and now I am having my first cup and planning my attack for the turkey day feast. This will be the sixth year that Julie and I host the festivities although this year we are seating eleven. Last year we sat 27 with five pescatarians, two vegetarians and a vegetarian/no milk products. This year it is all omnivores with two pescatarians and I simply say to that....PHEW! Bloodguard Bob and I are cooking and it's a traditional menu with the addition of his fabulous squash soup starter, and honey glazed grilled steelhead for the pescatarians. Hope you all have a FABULOUS day today, whether it's a holiday for you or not!
Hugs!

I tried serving pescatarians once. Turns out I didn't defrost them long enough, and they got all tough and dry.
"It is not the literal past that rules us, save, possibly, in a biological sense. It is images of the past. Each new historical era mirrors itself in the picture and active mythology of its past or of a past borrowed from other cultures. It tests its sense of identity, of regress or new achievement against that past.”
-George Steiner
I'm kinda angry - I met all my KPI's at work for two quarters but they wiggled out of giving me a pay rise as I had a couple of days sick over my entitlement. Bastards!
You do not hear, and so you cannot be redeemed.
In the name of their ancient pride and humiliation, they had made commitments with no possible outcome except bereavement.
He knew only that they had never striven to reject the boundaries of themselves.
Not that I got a raise this year either, (and am not really expecting one next), but I'm really glad we don't have all that formalised stuff to go through and haven't at any job I ever had.
Divine afternoon. Spent several hours with Son of Seareach in the back yard (we made him a house out of a huge cardboard box). Then one of my friends and her daughter dropped around, then we all went to the beach for some splashing and fun. Then back to her house for some beers, cheese, bikkies and homus and a chat. Ahhhhhhhhhhh...such is life.
