oh how I would love one of them!!!

birdandbear .. yeah you feel my pain ;) LOL .. it is true .. and just who do we blame the rest of the biological messes that make their way into or homes and lives Landwaster???? ;) <aka wally chops>!!

who's choice was the baby poop? the toddler vomit? lol .. it started out a manly choice eh?

but to be fair .. Lord Trevor cleans up all the vomitty messes accrued over the years .. cos he's good like that 8) and he's done his fair share of baby poops ..

and I think he occassionally scoops the poops in the litter tray ;)

My husband is pretty good about cleaning up biological messes. Both times I was pregnant I got morning sickness pretty badly and (spoiler for grossness)
Spoiler
a couple of times I woke up out of a sound sleep and vomited all over myself, him, and the bed -- literally no time to get to the bathroom  -- and he would strip the bed, wash the blankets and sheets, strip himself and me, wash us up in the shower, and bring me crackers and milk to try to settle my stomach
. And I hurt my shoulder last spring (a rotator cuff injury at work) and he has been changing the cat boxes and lugging the litter ever since. And he has changed his share of the thousands of diapers...
And he LOVES cats. One of the three is his. The other two belong to my boys, who have both taken first place in martial arts tournaments with hundreds of entrants. Perhaps I can turn them loose on Landwaster. :D

Hmmm. Now I have to fnd something that belongs to Satan -- and I have just the thing. Throwing up. I hate it. :-x

Well, I dunno how much damage they can actually do. The older one is in tenth grade and wrestles at 112 pounds and the little guy wrestles at 85 pounds.
Damelon can tell you how little bitty they are.

your husband is a honey and a treasure duchess!! a real keeper ;) 8)

I'm keeping mine too 8) .. He always mucks in and he is a CAT LOVER too .. and you'd be hard pressed to find a manlier man than him ;)

but he is also a honey!! I dont know how I got so lucky! He is everything anyone could ever wish for in a partner 8) and besides being the apple of my eye .. he is everything I hope in my life to aspire to.

though he does have a disturbing love for cricket  :fim:  his only flaw ;)

cancer is the work of satan :(

gedi_gms .. marriage is a dynamic association between soul mates and best friends. What better to wake up next to your best friend everyday .. and because they're your best friend .. you always want to see them happy ..

its not hard to help a friend .. even through really tuff stuff .. you kinda lean on each other .. and that lightens the load.

the secret is getting yourself a good partner .. one that you adore with every fibre of your being ..

Okay, I admit I didn't read through all 19 pages in this thread, but with all women on this forum I find it hard to believe no one has added these things to the list of things of satan:

1. The Bra - very, very evil, uncomfortable thing (except sports bras - those I like)
2. Girdles - what woman would ever come up with this?
3. Nylons - okay, I wear these, but they are binding.

Okay, that's it for now. Hope I didn't embarass any of you men! ;)

No embarassment here ... might embarass single blokes but it ain't nuffin new to the rest of us.

Totally understand the discomfort level of the bra. Speaking from (obviously SECOND-HAND) experience, it seems to be like winning the lottery to get to take one off at the end of the day.

Corsets are from hell. We were at a theme park in Ballarat called Sovereign Hill recently, based on 1850s gold rush days, and learnt that some women actually had operations to REMOVE RIBS so that they could have thinner waists and fit into tighter corsets!!! THAT is from HADES!

That's another thing from hell - stupid women's clothes. High heels and pointy shoes, etc etc. All part of age-old patriarchy (high heels were intended originally to make a woman's calves look more shapely).

One thing though, most men are over it. We'd rather have a woman look comfortable and natural these days. Yet there is still a social expectation among women that they must adhere to fashion. Fashion was an instrument of male-dominated society. We wanted it, youse had to do as told, so youse did it. Nowadays we'd rather just have yers in a good mood! Yet the cycle can't be broken from without. So its WOMEN that have to break that cycle.
