Allfather wrote:The people of Linver beg for your deliverance when ghosts and restless spirits start stalking the streets of the city.
It was Maeror sending the souls of the dead from their resting place to haunt Linver, where he wanted nothing more than his own controll.
As if that weren't enough to show the mistreatment of the dead,

When a rift appeared in the lands south of Agathi, I asked Maeror, as a sign of goodwill to help me. He sent multitudes of the dead into this rift, to be destroyed. Dangerous in itself, there was no telling whether or not that would in fact makes things worse. I believe it may have.
Shortly after this man appeared in Linver.
Allfather wrote: A mortal named Chastus appears at the gates of Linver, at dawn, loudly calling for you, challenging you to a fight. His voice echoes through the streets of Linver as the mortal challenges you, calling you a coward should you not meet him in battle, and attracting throngs of your worshipers, both curious and afraid to see what will happen to this upstart
I sent my power into him, to show him the might of the gods, and silence his heresy, here is what happened.
Allfather wrote:As your power floods into Chastus's mind, attempting to strike him mute and to show him a false vision of the universe, something strange happens - it is as if he weren't actually there, or rather as if he were some sort of "hole", through which your power is drained without apparent effects, pouring into some vast emptiness. For the longest moments of your immortal life, you feel a tugging at the very core of your essence, and you realize with crystal clarity that if you gave in to the tugging, you yourself - deity as you are - would be sucked into Chastus's emptiness and be forever lost. Struggling with all your might, you manage to free yourself from Chastus's grip, but the creature smiles wickedly, obviously aware of what transpired, and somehow uses a portion of your power to cloak himself into a mist that makes his movements invisible to you or other gods.
It strangley resembles the rift in Agathi, no? Beings such as this don't just wander around. It is my belief that Maeror, though not purposefully, caused this being to exist. His usage of the souls of the dead caused this being to appear, and he doesnt seem to be up to any good, it nearly caused my demise. And now he is running around invisible for any of us to see.
I want Maeror to give up his controll of the dead, not for my use, but to stop any further damage from being caused. Though, it may be too late.
Understand my position now, Sister? I don't want your help, only to stand aside.
