Spoilers say it will be a twist, so it should at least be someone whose name we have heard. I didn't see the clip last week introducing her with Ted. Could it be possible Ted is her father? I'm thinking it's probably Claude, though, personally.

OK, I'm a little confused now. The woman who appeared in Ted's cabin was not the woman who claimed to be Claire's mom this past episode. I could be mistaken, but I'm pretty sure they are two different characters.

Anyone know for sure?

Well, I didn't see the clip, so, I could be the one confused, I thought there was only one new female character coming onto the scene in the near future.

They were definitely 2 different women, with 2 different powers. I'm presently wondering about Claire & the Hatian; is it possible he's had to wipe her mind before? Just wondering, because logically, little kids get scraped up a lot more than teenagers, though in Claire's back story episode, it was kind of implied that her power first kicked in when she cut her hand with broken glass.

You bring up a good point. She may only have thought that's when her power first kicked in. I hadn't considered that, like Dr B.'s wife, Claire may have had previous mind wiping sessions.

Yeah you're right, if Claire had this power from birth, then it makes sense that she would've become aware of it early on and the Haitian would've been called in. The only other explanation would be that the power was dormant/unnoticed until she sliced her hand.

I've just watched up to episode three. Brilliant so far.
But if you're all about the destination, then take a fucking flight.

Well I guess we shouldn't be surprised that
Spoiler
Nathan is Claire's father.
Typical whoring politician.

I love how Invisible man (great character--cynical, world weary mentor) is showing Peter the ropes.
Spoiler
I wonder how many more times Peter will fall from a building before he actually flies??

Peter is shaping up to be the real powerhouse. If he lives up to his potential, he'll be able to out perform Sylar without actually dealing with the unsavory act of eating human brains.

Guns, we don't know Sylar is eating brains. In fact, since we saw his story, it's no longer likely, since we know he looks at things and figures out how they work, so the popular belief nowadays (I believe) is that he opens up the head to get a look inside the brain, to see what is different, and then somehow, does something to himself to mimic that abnormality in his own brain.

My bad. You're right, the brain eating doesn't make sense at this point. I like the notion of studying the brain to see how it ticks. Makes sense.

But I still think Peter could potentially be the strongest meta-human on the block.

Oh and Guns you were right on about Claire's father!

oops, sorry Tulizar and Guns for misquoting.

Absolutely, Peter is the biggest guy on the block, aside from Sylar, and he's been declawed a bit by the plot development, he's no longer as scary, although still dangerous.

I loved George Takei as Hiro's Dad.

Also liked the development on Niki/Jessica.

I am rather unimpressed with the whole "Fagen" character training Peter deal. Though he too seems to have a past w/ Claire's adoptive Dad (who I still think is a good guy).

Yeah, George Takei was right on as Hiro's dad.

Hiro and Ando are definitely two of my favorite characters. Poor Ando has game and Hiro's sister is simply blind to it!

Nikki's character is coming along nicely. I couldn't tell for sure, but did she

Well, she had some pretty bad burns, and no one was rushing relief, or care to her side. If you can trust the writing, that suggests to me she's dead

That was my initial thought, but then I wondered if the guards were concerned more with getting Nikki out of the cell and restraining her before she wreaked any more havoc.

Is it just me, or is there a huge balance issue here.

We have yet to see any really baddy bad guys yet. I mean, yeah, Sylar is a pretty bad dude, but honestly, with all the Heroes we have matched up, he's moot. Three of the worst Heroes could take him.

There is the Nuke that is a world issue for the Heroes to solve, but where's the bad guy's? Or more apptly, where is the Archnemesis?

There has to be one eventually.

Right?

Yeah, we really haven't seen a boatload of bad guys have we? Sylar is one formidable foe, but he can't be the only one right?

I guess Linderman is the Archnemesis. He seems to be in control of bad things in general and he does have an interest in controlling meta-humans. I can't wait to see what's up with him!

Anyone else catch the refernce to "Lost " last night on Heroes? Nathan stated that (relative to what he would do with those superpowered folks) he would place them "...all on a island in the middle of the Pacific ocean and perform expirements on them."

Talk about knowing your audience!

Good show last night. I though for sure that they were going to

.

Good pacing all around.

I expected it, as she has already moved on to other things, and she fit the spoiler of being in the first 10 minutes of the pilot. I didn't expect Isaac to shoot her, while intending to shoot Peter though
