Well, given that I haven't been able to finish the turn yet, and stuff at work keeps piling up - not to mention the fact that it is already wednesday evening, and that sunday I'll have to work - I'd suggest we set the deadline for next saturday (Feb 10) and I'll send the turn in as soon as I am finished. Sorry for the delay - but at least you'll have plenty of time to consider your moves once the turn gets in :P

So we'll skip this week basically. OK, that's fine. We'll have the same time as usual to consider moves unless by some miracle you manage to send them tomorrow. ;)

Aarrggg. The waiting drives me crazy.

The game is only going to be more complicated and time-consuming for Xar as it goes, and we get more powerful. Perhaps we should consider making deadlines every two weeks; moves due from us on one Saturday, giving Xar time to get results to us the next. If he gets it done in less than a week, we can be pleasantly surprised. But I won't have a heart attack every time I open my email if I'm not expecting results for X more days.

Well, come on, it's working out that way anyway. We may as well make it official, so we don't open our email 15 times every day. If I know it's not coming until Saturday, I won't do that, meh? heh

My auto-notifier keeps me from actually checking all the time. But I do seem to receive a lot more Waterstone's newsletters on the days I'm expecting the turn to come in, heh.

Don't worry. It won't likely effect you. Probably a black hole opened in the center of Shakari, or something.

btw, Xar, I truly didn't mean anything negative in my previous couple of posts. This is likely a tremendous amount of work for you, and your job is even worse. I'm not giving you grief for not getting it done quicker. I'm just trying to get the pressure off you and make the wait less nerve-wracking for us. :D

I'm starting to get worried about Shakari too. At least I'm not physically there like certain other deities, but the forest is basically next door to my people, and to think of what might happen if all of those DRP spent there last turn had unexpected consequences...

Don't be concerned. Something bad happened to Shakari in each of the last five turns, and only once was because of another deity. I wish I had tried much harder to coordinate things this turn, and will in the future. But even if things do go badly because of the way you used your extra DRP's - and that's not nearly a sure thing - something bad was likely to happen anyway. :D

I'm hoping to send out the turn today or tomorrow... work keeps on piling :P I certainly hope it won't force me to push back the turn another week - but as I said, this is an exceptional circumstance. I'll keep you posted :P Oh, and I apologize in advance for any heart attacks or crises of anxiety you people are having :P

Well, yes, I understand that... but unfortunately I must first give precedence to the results I'm getting at work, if nothing else because those little mice already literally died for us to study them... :P
