It will.

Actually, though i said it's not getting any easier, some things are getting much easier! Spent this evening in the pub with 3 (smoker) friends and I didn't once crave a cig. But sometimes, mainly at home, it'd be oh SO nice....

Ok....

Here's one I had a few weeks ago.
I offer no explanations:

I was in a forest in front of a fallen tree.
The base of the trunk was hollowed out and there was a family of bunnies living inside.
Two were old enough to come out and play where I could see them.
They were cute.
Then 2 grizzly bears started attacking the trunk where the other baby bunnies were.
The mother bunny and the two older kids ran away.
I tried "shooing" the bears away.
They tore the tree apart though.
Then they came after me.
I climbed up a tree.
The bears then became polar bears that could jump from the ground up 50 feet into the tree I was in and bent it back until we were on the ground.
Using one of the broken tree branches as a spear I started killing the polar bears.
Then I woke up.

I dreamt that Jay had built this huge robot and I was asked to destroy it. The problem was that the robot was attracted to me and I couldn't escape from it. :?

WOW! I left my nicotine patch on last night (I usually take it off when I go to sleep). BOY did I have some really intense dreams...some which included Watch members (but due to content I can't really get into detail about them! 8O ;) ). Feel like I've been dreaming all night long!

I should try this Dream Patch technique...

I don't think I've ever posted in this thread til now. Can't be bothered to check all the back pages...

Lucimay and I recently chatted about dreams. I've had my share of bizarre dreams over the years. For a brief period, I did write down my dreams - the ones that were worth writing down. But I didn't keep it up because a) trying to make sense of something that by nature makes no sense became a chore, and b) I found that the more I wrote them down, the less interesting my dreams became. I think it was my brain's way of telling me not to be so obssessed with what it was doing while I was sleeping. :P

Yup know where you're coming from here! first two nights on the patches I wore them all night. Mad intense dreams - I was absolutely exhausted when I woke up!

Last night had a few too many ciders and didn't take off patch before bed, but cider is obviously greater than nicotine, as I slept good. However, lying-in dream this morning was very realistic (-yes it was me enjoying a ciggie! getting very predictable and boring my subconscious has NO imagination!) - I actually woke up annoyed thinking I was back on them.

(top tip Seareach - I'm finding a cup of ginger-and-lemon tea before bed very soothing and calming)

When I tried Avina Sativa to help me sleep, that gave me lots of peculiar dreams. As a big dreamer anyway, it was quite the knackering experience.

Yeah, I dream a bit too CJ. I have the most wonderful colourful full on dreams (and some pretty horrid ones too). But, eh, even though my patch experience had me quite exhausted the next day...tell ya what...it was worth every damn second of it!

[Thanks for the tip Stonemaybe. I think I'll try it. I generally listen to music on my ipod and float away into Seareach la-la land...which I find quite relaxing. But before going to bed it's ticky: I find the evenings tough as that's when I smoked most. I was eating chupa-chups but that was becoming nearly as expensive as my smoking habit <grin>, so I'm now having barley sugars!]

I dream often and quite vividly. This morning I had stayed over at a friend's house and needed to get up. I thought I got out of bed and walked out the door and into the hall. I felt the cold air touch my skin, felt the carpet on my feet, saw the tabby cat in the hallway when I opened the door. And then my alarm went off! It was very weird--almost as if I had an out of body experience. But not really.

And I've had some dreams with some Watch members in them. Not sure if I want to mention names either. :P

I had a dream when I was in NZ that was so vivid, I wrote it down. Provided material for a short story I also wrote in NZ...

Heh, yeah, I've had dreams where I've got up for work, pottered around the house, eaten breakfast, brushed my teeth and actually got to the office, only to wake up and find I have to do it all again. I also once dreamed a really, really long shift at work, and was not happy about it.

The following feature is rated PG13 for sexual content:
Spoiler
I had a dream last night that I moved into a condo, and I was sleeping and woke up to the sounds of my neighbors bumping uglies... loudly. For some reason, the wall dividing our rooms was made out of shutters, so I was able to peek through... so I watched as they were, uh... finishing, and the woman had gotten up (she was wearing a nightie) and she saying something to the effect of "yay, I had an orgasm!" and was obviously very excited about it. (Hell, who wouldn't be?) and then the man left the room and the woman sat on the bed and looked right at me, even though I was peeping through a really small crack in the shutters. (I had to peep! Not like I went out of my way to do it! It was in my room...) anyway, she saw me and the rest of the dream was filled with us covering the shutters with shelf paper. I also tried to watch HGTV to figure out cheap and stylish ways to cover up shutters.
And that's all I remember.

Who makes a wall out of shutters that adjoins two master bedrooms?! And WHY wouldn't I have noticed this before I bought the condo?

I don't dream.
