The key is to be able to use them before they use you. It's very very simple. I should sell a how-to video for it...

Thank god I live with my brother so I can teach him these things before he goes and hooks up with some emotional wreck of a woman who treats him like crap.
Same goes for women who hook up with emotionally crippled men, Wadds. I've had more than my fair share of them...

BUT!...look at me now! Alive, kicking, and still having a good time. You'll get there Gil, you just need to GIVE yourself some time first. Do things for YOU, get the "woe is me's" outa your system, and when you start to feel better, things will improve. The trick is (in the interim/post breakup) keep it light and just play - keep the emo outa things.

Hope things get better for you Gil. I know that words like that don't help, but I sincerely hope that they do. :)

Poor me! I'm a mum without a clue of what to do: I've just dropped off Son of Seareach at his first official afternoon kinder session (last week just being orientation so I stayed and it was short). I hung around for about half an hour. He seemed like a fish out of water--it's such a hot day here they're keeping the kids inside for a while and SOS lives for the outdoors. Had a few tears in my eyes as I left after saying "mummy is going now". He looked at me like he was thinking "but what do you mean" with his beautiful little eyes....

But, hey, I'm back home now and so far no phone call to say "come get him, he's lost the plot". But now I have absolutely no idea what to do with myself.

And here was I thinking I'd be home screaming in jubilation "FREEEEEEEEEEDDDDOOOOOOOOOOOOOOMMMMMM! "

Sea, my nephew started kindy this year too - he's done two sessions (morning & afternoon) and next week goes to one full day (Wed) - he must have our side of the family's genes for adventure, excitement and really wild things cos he reacted same as I did when I started school - "Bye Mum, you can go now"...

Give Son of some time to get to know people, and they you really WILL get to shout "FREEEEDOM!" - you gotta just take the chill pill and make it so! ;)

Bah, annoyed and frustrated. Damn radiator sprung a leak yesterday, and so much other stuff to do and get sorted, with zero motivation to actually do any of it. *sigh* Oh well, I comfort myself with the knowledge that it could always be worse. :D

Ha, I might be reduced to it. I've got some sealant that should get me to the mechanic on Monday...(Using the GF's car for now), but will probably have to replace the radiator anyway.

I went to play golf. It's only the second time I've ever played and I was pretty woeful. Hit a round of 77 over 9 holes--hehehe.

My mate, Toby, is about as bad as me, though. I want to go back next week and race one of those golf carts. They look awesome.

Having a battle of wits with the prisoners at work this week, fortunately, it's not a fair fight as they all seem to be unarmed

Apart from that, everything is rosy here - no snow, but it is cold, everyone has got over the colds that we had and there's chocolate biscuits in the cupboard (even though I'm supposed to be losing weight - 8lbs so far, and that's without really trying too hard).

I have a target of another stone to lose before I get back to the weight I was 8 years ago - which is the weight I was when I was still playing football seriously every week. Started back at the gym this week, so we'll see what happens.

Willpower, I need a fix of willpower.

Jay and ALE thought about calling it The Warlocks (or Super-Mario's Fun Center), but then found out that Jerry Garcia held copyright  . No, it's always been called Kevin's Watch-way back to the EZboard days...

Huh. I just saw something in an old post(3 years or so) that indicated that the name was different back then. I didn't know where to ask, so i asked here. Thanks for the answer--it's like you're an administrator or sumfin'. ;)

That's funny, the trick for me is always to go out and have lots of meaningless sex.

But that's just me. And I'd never recommend it...
