I restored the headstock decal on my Ibanez bass, because it bothered me.

There you have it.

Boringest.

Weekend.

Ever.

I had a tourist day with Heatherly. We went to look at a potential apartment for me then headed over to Pier 39 and had fish and chips and then went to the aquarium. This bat nosed ray that I was petting actually stuck his head up out of the water and made eye contact with me after I stopped petting him so I petted him some more.

I'm back to pester everyone.
And a HUGE thanks to those that posted their sympathy/prayers/comfort.
The comforting thoughts about my Dad's death was that he died in his sleep. Peaceful.
It was sudden and totally unexpected, for he was in excellent health. (According to the doctor check-up visit 10 days earlier.)

It sure was one f***ed-up week.
First, I caught a flu-bug,
Second was my Dad's death,
Then as my wife & I was leaving to attend the funeral service
she slipped, fell, and broke her finger.

Anyway, I'm back and ready to post.
I think I will just tinker around the house this weekend and fix up a few things that were ignored over the past week.

Well of course you would like it. :D

Yay for you Chev! I'm glad you're getting back on your feet :)

My weekend was mostly boring, until Sunday when I went to a bar in Seattle called the Dubliner to meet up with some people who are apart of another little forum I post on (somethingawful). It was cool... it was my first time going to a goon meet (SA forum members are called goons), and everyone there was awesome. There were probably around 15 people there. Monday night they got together there again for karaoke (One of the goons just got a job there as the DJ and started monday) and I went to that too. All in all I got crap for sleep sunday and monday night, but I didn't really feel it at all, and now I'm all caught up. I suppose being out sunday and monday nights is going to become a regular thing for me. Yay for screwing up my sleep pattern!!

I'm on the third row down.

All in all it was an awesome weekend. I love meeting new people!! We're going to go see 300 when it releases, and every friday they get together for BSG and drunken gaming (mostly Wii). Dude. I've found a new home.
