Reservoir Dogs

Post by danlo »

My neighbor lent this to me-Wow!!! I can't believe it's taken me so damm long to watch this film! I'd like to think I've seen every decent Mob/Crime movie out there from SE7EN to Goodfellas to The Usual Suspects to Pulp Fiction to Miller's Crossing...but NOOO!!! Damm one tour de force acting preformance after another Madsen, Roth, Keitel and Busemi were astonishing! Pretty darn funny too. I think I've avoided this because Tarantino was acting in it-fortunately he minimized his role, but his direction is brilliant!

Sorry if a thread already exists-I did a search and looked at all threads and couldn't find one. So, I'm Eddie in this pix? Is this someone's way of telling me I need to hit the gym (thanks Ez!)? :? :P kevinswatch.ihugny.com/phpBB2/album_page.php?pic_id=804

Reservoir Dogs astounded me when I saw it in theatres. This one and Kill Bill (Vols 1 & 2) are my favorite Tarantino films.

I watched RD some time ago - personally, I think it's overrated.

It's easily one of my favourite films, so good.
But if you're all about the destination, then take a fucking flight.
We're going nowhere slowly, but we're seeing all the sights.
And we're definitely going to hell, but we'll have all the best stories to tell.

Don't worry; once I've finished editing your post, you'll just love RD!

This is what I said about RD in the "Top overrated movies" thread:
Add to my list "Reservoir Dogs" which I watched for the first time last night. I don't understand myself sometimes. I hear all these great things about Quentin Terentino movies, and I rent those movies KNOWING they're going to suck ass, I watch them, hate them, regret watching them, and then come here and bitch about it.

Now see here! I didn't start this thread to have some bugger write two threads about how much he didn't like this movie. Once is quite enough--sheesh-dAN! You don't offer prune juice to a tourist in Mexico! :P

 I quite like it. Not my favourite of his usually, but pretty good nonetheless.

(I've always suspected that Tarentino became a director just so that he could cast himself. Fortunately, his directing is much better than his acting. ;) )
