I'm out. Can't come up with it without cheating. I thought it was Randall Flagg.

I have recalled the Sea Breeze Inn...but I cannot recall what Roland called it. He smelled no Sea Breeze, right? Or something like that.

You know i have only read the last book once. I don't know if i ever will read it again. It was painful!

The Sea Breeze Inn is correct.

Roland couldn't understand why it was called sea breeze when it was no where near the ocean.

Was it a leather belt or something similar? I have a vague recolletion of him with a belt.
But if you're all about the destination, then take a fucking flight.

Haha, not even close. (But he did wear a belt. He just didn't use it to beat aspiring gunslingers half to death and send them west. ;) )

His stick wasn't it? If I remember correctly, "stick" was quite an understatement, but that's what he called it.

It was a stick. :D I was looking for something a little more specific, but you can have it, because you'll post a question quickly. ;)

(It was an iron-wood staff, bluntly pointed on one end, spatulate on the other. )
