Hey! Wouldn't it be amazing to learn that Jay was encyclopedic about the First Chrons, but all memory of it left him when he read Linden's name for the first time in TWL? What if people would say things like, "How was that book you were reading last month, The Power That Preserves," and was all, "Huh? What are you talking about?"
