I bet the fun wears off after all that business travel, huh? :)

As for me, I did some moving into my new place. I packed 9 boxes of books and moved them in. My new roomie has a 5-shelf bookcase all cleared out for me, and I almost filled it up. And I still have to move my fiction books--most of what I moved was reference. I'll wait on that until I move my bookcases to my new bedroom (yep--I have TWO nice bookcases in my bedroom--makes me a bona fide nerd!). I mostly need to pack the larger kitchen goods, my clothes, furniture and miscellaneous stuff before the weekend move date. I'm taking Friday off of work to pack up. Fun times. ;)

And in other news, I picked up my maid of honor dress. It's a strapless ballgown in cranberry. It fits okay, but will need to be hemmed a few inches, even though I will be wearing heels. Such is life when you're short. Anyhow, I found the perfect shoes to go with it. They're cranberry red satin, with metal rings and faux crystals in the rings (like the popular pendants). There are "straps" that look to be made of ribbon linking the metal loops to the bed of the shoe. . ahh, let me just take a picture!

Anyway, they are a perfect match for the dress. And they were on sale too! Go me. :D

It is a great picture. At first I thought it was a special effects shot.

Thanks. :D Was quite an experience lying down right under that, especially because to take it, I had to unclip my safeties. What we'll go through...

I'm really pleased with the way it turned out though. :D

Sounds scary! I have a fear of falling from a height. As long as I am safely strapped in, or behind a reasonable sort of railing I'm good. But put me up high on a platform with no safeties. . . I'd be a quivering mass of jelly--and not in a good way. :)

However, I must also say that I long to have a treehouse someday. A grown-up treehouse! :)

Well...it wasn't high. On the contrary, it was very low...about 15m underground. ;)

Yeah, but how far could you fall? That's the operative question. :D

That's high enough to make me nervous.

When it warms up here (hopefully soon) I am going to have my friends take me rappeling for the first time. We have a lot of natural rock bluffs here, and I've been meaning to go for a while. I'll let you know how it goes. :)

Cool shots, Av! All you need is some Indiana Jones music. Sometimes we do go to great lengths to get the picture we want, but the payoff can be worth it.

 That's what I told the guy. :D

(I'll be adding more pics to that site for him, probably today. Old pics of/by the guy in the photo's of some seriously crazy stuff from back in the day. Will post when it's updated.)
