Do you stay logged in throughout the session though? Or do you get logged off frequently?

What operating system are you using, and what browser?

Heh, use Firefox. :P
It wouldnt remember me or my password either. So i just got Firefox to remember it for me.

Firefox does this as well.
It happens to me too.
Sometimes once a months or as many as a few times a day.
I use several different computers though so I always assumed it had something to do with that.
But several times lately, on the same pc, I've been on the Watch in the morning but then at night it asks for my password and then when I login "view posts since last visit" is empty.
Which is real annoying.
But I don't blame the site though.
I blame Microsoft.

HLT--there's one thing to be careful with, there. If you start loading a forum then click on something else or hit stop, or if you hit refresh when it's barely started loading, it sometimes logs you out but marks that as your last visit. It's happened to me a few times, usually when I click the wrong bookmark by mistake.

This is happening to me, too. Aargh! I emptied my cache and my history and my cookies, and it still won't remember me. (And now all my sites no longer know who I am. )

Any other suggestions? :D

The forum doesn't remember you when you come back? Or you're getting logged out mid-session?

What browser are you using?

I asked the site why it wouldn't remember me and it suggested that I try to be more memorable. Then it told me to put in another quarter.

If you are using IE, you may want to check Tools->Internet Options, the Privacy tab. If the slider is set above Medium you may have problems with cookies crumbling. Note that changing this slider lowers your security for ALL internet sites you visit, not just KW.
Instead of lowering all security, or if lowering security doesn't fix it, you can also try going to the Security tab and adding the base address for KW to your 'trusted' list. Only do this if you are comfortable doing so.
If that doesn't work, maybe shake some chicken bones and curse Mr. Gates? :)
(I use IE both at home (Vista HP) and at work (XP), and don't have problems with KW remembering my login info).

SU, I think all your problem is is you have "remember passwords" turned off in IE. And that remember passwords is turned off if Autoprompt is turned off.

Tools > Internet Options > Content > AutoComplete
Make sure to check on utocomplete on for usernames and passwords on forms, and also to remember passwords.

I'm using IE version 7.0.5370.11 (I hate IE version numbers. :P )

Maybe try updating your IE...(oh...that might be the latest version...or almost so.) Or switching to FireFox (definitely worth it, much better browser) if altering your security settings doesn't work.

I have a copy of FireFox around here somewhere. (*Looks under sofa*) I tried it earlier, but it was hard to get used to. Now that IE has changed is interface to try to be more like FireFox ;), it might be easier. But I'm so used to my links being in the same place on the screen, etc. Sigh.

Hmm, lemme give it a try anyway.

Did you try changing your security settings first? Or adding kevinswatch.ihugny.com to your "allow cookies" etc lists?

My security was set at medium -- or maybe medium rare? :) I add the site to something or another. Anyway, I finally gave up and downloaded the latest version of Firefox. And guess what? It remembers me. 8)
