How about operatic stuff? I sing THAT at the top of my lungs while driving - amuses many, makes me feel good, helps me learn the music... (especially as I'm singing loudly while I have the MP3 player on- WITH HEADPHONES!)

yes. ANYkind. singing is good for the soul.

did you hear Aretha Franklin sing Nessun Dorma (Turandot) at the Grammies one year EG? whoa. she stood in for Pavaroti when he couldn't sing that night. it was...incredible to say the least.

So sorry to hear the bad news, Guns, Sea, Lore, Cail, Creator! And sorry that it's been such a rotten stretch for so many of our watchers. . .among others, Jenn and our sickies Luci and Elfie! |G

I demand that things improve immediately.

I'm feeling good. I'm in the middle of planning a bunch of camping trips this summer. A few big party ones (at a campsite) one backpacker and one Knife and Blanket trip. They're all the favroites of mine, and should be a lot of fun.

Now I'm off to bed. Night, 'Watchers!

No, Luci, I didn't - damn, would have been brilliant - I wonder if it's on youtube? ;)

Damn, sorry to hear that Guns. Just take it as it comes man. And you too Sea. Sometimes it's the best thing for them.

I'm feeling pretty good...my injury almost completely healed, did my first climb in nearly a month yesterday, taking it easy, and it went fine.

And the GF got a new job...started today.

Thanks Av...and thanks guys for all your support. I'm feeling a lot better about my decision today. It's still upsetting but, well, I don't feel so bad about it now. :)

I had to leave work early because of my epilepsy - I had some seizures at work.

For fuck's sake this is annoying me.

Haha, for nothing. ;)

Seriously though...obviously I don't know what it's like, but it looks like one of those "adapt or kill yourself" situations.

Look on the bright side...you got out of work. ;)

Hmmm, not too good. I didn't go to university at all all week, and I barely got out of bed. One of those months I think. :?
You do not hear, and so you cannot be redeemed.

He knew only that they had never striven to reject the boundaries of themselves.

That is a bright side, indeed. Better days are coming for all of us, I am sure. Thanks for all the kind words and PMs from you folks. it makes the horror of my twin's nightmare easier to bear.

Hugs to them what needs 'em.... |G

Doing pretty good. Taking tomorrow off for a weekend college-visit trip with MagickMaker. Girl Scout cookie season is *this close* to being over -- I'm turning in the final paperwork on the way out of town tomorrow. And yesterday I made airline reservations for a trip to celebrate my 50th birthday in December. I've wanted to go to Spain for decades, and so, dammit, I'm goin'.

Yay for you Aliantha. Hugs all around. I enjoyed singing along with some more good/bad music this morning. I had a rousing vocal rendition of Barry Manillow's "Copa Cabana" and Britney Spears's "Hit Me Baby One More Time" and BeeGee's "Night Fever." I love me some BeeGees.
