Another cool thing i thought of, i really liked how Sylar's painting style was different to Isaacs.

Isaac's apartment was filled with pieces of paintings and newspaper clippings that created a timeline of events that led up to the nuclear blast.dlbpharmd wrote:Once again my DVR messed up and cut off the last minute or so. What happened after Hiro walked into Isaac's old apartment?
At the very end Hiro encounters the future samurai(?) Hiro who seems displeased with Hiro.
Yeah, I liked that too. Also, Sylar seemed to be smiling when he was painting--nice touch!Warmark wrote:Another cool thing i thought of, i really liked how Sylar's painting style was different to Isaacs.

The future Samurai is of course Hiro himself...only future hiro....Tulizar wrote:Isaac's apartment was filled with pieces of paintings and newspaper clippings that created a timeline of events that led up to the nuclear blast.dlbpharmd wrote:Once again my DVR messed up and cut off the last minute or so. Isaac as Christ - Yup, he's a savior, I believe, he finally gets to be a hero, I suspect because he left a clue in the comic book or in the sketchbook as to Sylar's weak spotWarmark wrote:Good episode, peter and Sylar was a bit of an anti climax though.
Isaac = Christ as he dies? Similar anyway.
I though Linderman would be called to heal peter, ut he sorted himslef anyway.
GREAT ending. Has Hiro messed up somewhere? Future Hiro seemed pissed off.
Some believe that future Sylar got Morph chick (Candace) and that Future Hiro in that scene was actually future Sylar with morphing abilities. not sure if I believe that, or just that Future Hiro is indeed unhappy with his past self for whatever reason
Spoiler
Another possibility is there is a spoiler that Hiro will be hunted as a Terrorist in the new Meta Human Administration, since he is trying to prevent the explosion, which leads to Nathan becoming President. So that may simply be the new hardened Hiro
Another possible interesting thought; did Sylar paint himself in the whitehouse?

He shows up where Hiro, Hiro, Ando, and Peter are holed up. Pulls Peter through the wall (looks like we know how DL and probably Mica die), they fight, younger Hiro and Ando go back to the original timeline.
Somehow, I missed how the Haitian died.

Mohinder gave him a syringe to the neck, but, did he kill him, or just knock him out? I really liked last night's show. Great set-up for the lkast three "issues". It felt a lot like the X-Men issue run of 141-142 (Days of Future Past)..anyone else as big a geek ad to recall these comics?
Also dlb...it was revealed that SYLAR was Nathan as President. Somehow Sylar had killed Nathan and took over his ID in the past at some point. Sylar (Nathan) kills Claire.
Sylar and Peter are a yin and yang it seems. Where Sylar must kill to absorb powers, Peter does it by touch. I think its clear that Hiro is supposed to be the one to Kill sylar...but I am imagining it might be Bennett who winds up doing so.

Thankfully all of the events described above will be erased when/if Hiro manages to kill Sylar as it was predicted. Last night's episode was great. I remember looking up with only 5 minutes left in the episode going "Aw man. I wanna see more!" Looking forward to the final episodes.

If young Hiro couldn't change the past and save Rachel, how could older Hiro change the past and save the world?

Heh. I can't think about that one. I try to suspend all logic when it comes to time travel sequences.Syl wrote:If young Hiro couldn't change the past and save Rachel, how could older Hiro change the past and save the world?

I just wonder if Hiro has the nerve to actually kill someone. But if the future Hiro is any indication of what Hiro could become, I suppose he is capable of killing.
I sort of liked future Peter's attitude. The scene at the bar was priceless--he downs a shot then shuts of the TV with a scowl. Pure power! I thought that act was more impressive than his badass moves against the guards later on in the episode.

Excellent episode. There better be a full on Peter vs Sylar battle at some point.

Brilliant ep! I was thinking this timeline in the series would go on for a few more eps, but still....well done! Yes, Peter's attitude: this is the first time I actually liked him.

Cowboy: Why you doin' this, Doc?
Doc Holliday: Because Wyatt Earp is my friend.
Cowboy: Friend? Hell, I got lots of friends.
Doc Holliday: ... I don't.
