Fine with me!

As long as y'all don't mind if I do dress up (it's not all that fancy, but for me, it's dressy...). No spiky heels for me though. However, it will probably be a wedge heeled sandal...

Heh, after they steal your watches and jewelry, that is.

I want to dress up, Danlo!! Yay!

Let me know when you have reservations and all that and I'll update the first post.

In all my 47 years, I've been to Montreal and Quebec, Italy, and Israel (all before leaving home at 18 ), and the most recent trip was to Barbados right after marrying Paul 19 years ago to meet his mom and step-dad who were living there at the time.

In my own country, the farthest west I have ever been is the eastern shore of the Mississippi in N'awlins. Wow...
Oh, I have to clarify this!!

I have travelled since 19 years ago, but it's all been east coast US. The last big trip is when I got to get together with Fist, his two daughters, and his fiancee a couple of Decembers ago (wow, have I been a member of the Watch that long?)

Ok looks like we will be having our dinner/interview at The Cooperage. I'm going to go look at their "Rock Room" tomorrow or Monday. They say it can hold up to 30 people and is quiet enough for an interview. I've also left a message for David Stienberg to return my call at the Newspaper.

The place is right across the street from the Barcelona Suites and is known for it's excellent prime rib, steak, lobster, crab and has one of the best salad bars in town...it also has a bar that opens up on large dining room that contains a dance floor and stage-hot Latin bands, usually, preform there Saturday Night...so we can dance the night away if we want too.

I'll call Phorist and the film crew this weekend (and we promise to not forget the remote mike this time  )

Need anything special brought?

Do you need 'contributions' for film crew ... etc?

Maybe we could make SRD a plaque--commemorating the event?

I'll pitch in some cash for a plaque. Shall we come up with a Donaldsonian superlative adjective fit for plaque-ing...?

Penultimate Author?
Quintessential Word Painter?
Coruscating-est Describer of Complexities?
Chary-est Wordsmith?
Prover of Life?

oh! DW!!! i DO like Prover of Life!!

once a writer has created a character, the character lives.

SRD is a Prover of Life. i like it.

i also had an idea. was thinking of making a mouse pad of Matrixman's screen shot where he made COVENANT in our literati game. i'd love to be able to photoshop Elohimfest 2007 onto it too but i have no skills in this area.
anyway, i think it can be done on Cafe Press like we do the Anthologies on LuLu.

i'd order a bunch to give out to everyone that attended (this trip is turning out to cost me very little, consequently i'd like to contribute something to the event - not to mention i'd just like to have a mouse pad with MM's word on it!!)
but then they'd also be available for anyone who wanted to buy one on Cafe Press.

does this sound like a good idea?

How about a Watchie Lifetime Achievement Award? :)

EF07 T-shirts for everyone would be cool. LITERATI ones even. I'd contribute.

How about "Elohimfest 2007, Fatal ____________, Albequerque". But what to put ... ?

Surely there's a big long word that means "to the end"? 'Unambergrised Utterly"?

Oh. "Fatal Revelers". Duh.

Or how about "Our fatal revenant can kick your deathly hallow's ass."
