Sea - that's awesome news. :bwave:

Me? Super excited about tomorrow! :D

(Tomorrow is also my seventh anniversary at my job, something I have mixed feelings about. Nooo liiife! Not to suggest that having the same job for 7 years is necessarily a bad thing, but I'm pretty sick of retail and in the beginning this was going to be temporary. What happened? Where did the time GO?)

I'd rather think about FBH! 8)

Well, 'fun' isn't the first word that comes to mind, but yeah, it is sometimes. I have some awesome coworkers right now, which always helps. I am 'Operations' which is mainly payroll and security - lotsa boring paperwork.

I was going to work at Borders, but the Theatre got back to me first. :D

Today I pulled a frickin' muscle in the top of my foot. It hurts and I can;t bend my big toe and I'm SO pissed. On the plus side I have training tomarrow for the Theatre.

:EDIT:

So I got back from orientation. Man wokring at a movie theatre frickin ROCKS! I HIGHLY recomend it to anyone who's looking for work. I have training this thursday, then I work next week for VIP and other special events before the grand opening on Friday. If your in Olympia, swing by and say Hello!

Feel so good today. Think I'm on the road to a healthier weight. It's hard to tell this early, though.

One of the doctors said the problem was I usually think I'm full when I'm really not. It's a bit strange--stuffing in extra calories and only being able to walk.

Also: I found out I'm actually around 121 pounds, not 140. Guess I just pushed myself too hard mentally/physically near the end of the semester.

So it's benign (well, they're as certain as one can be with the tests I've had done--there's definitely a hooley dooley lump there!). My doctor has told me to keep an eye on it and if it starts doing a number of things then I have to go straight back in so they can then refer me to a specialist so I can have a lump aspiration done (I think that's what it's called).

Anyway, thanks everyone for listening to my vent yesterday. Sorry about that! But thanks for listening, and thanks for all your positive vibes. And I really have to thank both Lucimay and Vain who have been there for me since I found the stupid lump. And Creator who did the big brother thing and didn't ask questions but who I knew was there for me if I needed someone. Love the three of ya. :)

I feel bloated. Been eating out every day and eating stuff I usually wouldn't (food with creamy cheese/fried food). But I keep waking up with a flat tummy, so maybe my body has been lying to me about the fullness factor. It is strange, though, stuffing in these extra calories and not jogging. I'm supposed to, though, which is even weirder.

I guess I should be happy. I'm on a program to gain weight. Time for some yogurt at Bruster's.

LF...

Is the fried/cheesy foods what you have been told to eat? I can easily see that making you feel full/bloated. It's the basic premise behind all of the fat allowed on the Atkins plan.

Have you consulted a nutritionist, as well as your physician? And has your blood sugars been checked? For either hyoglycemic or diabetic symptoms?

:::perhaps I should ask this to be split over to The Galley:::

Heh. Yeah. I've actually got a nutritionist appointment later this month.

I'm not going crazy with the fried food, mind you. Most of my year has been limited to stuff like oatmeal, raw veggies, and fruit servings (I got this thin for a reason).

Just been throwing in a little grease this week. Probably on account of my euphoria of finishing school (and the fact that the doctor said I could eat four meals a day at my metabolism). But don't worry about Foulsky. I'm still thin as a rail. I have weeks like this every now and then. The old appetites of my 300-pound-self rear its head.

Please keep in mind you can add calories healthfully, without resorting to fried/cheesy foods. Although the occasional splurge is well earned and justified.

Take care of you...

BTW, just how far from the way to Clayton, GA is Rome, GA? If he goes, we're planning on driving Beorn to camp this year...

About 160 miles/3 hours. Clayton's almost the opposite of Rome: northeast tip of Georgia; near Tennessee border, while I'm at the Alabama border *shudder*.

Well rats. It's already a 12 hour drive each way from Gator Town.

I finally realised why I've been feeling a little odd for the last couple of days.
It's the symptoms of jet lag.
I've finally managed to push my sleeping patterns just a little too far off 'normal'.

None. I've done it to myself, by sleeping at stupid hours since last week.

Get some sleep Murrin.
