"Our Song"...Do you have one?
:::I looked through all the past thread titles, if I missed it please link me:::
To go along with the "How did you meet?" thread over in Gen Dis...
Do you and your partner/significant other/spouse have a special song? What is it? Why is it special to y'all? Do you remember when it became the song?

This will probably make some folks do a double take, knowing my musical tastes, but Keep Coming Back by Richard Marx is Tam and my song (great sax solo, btw...)

It was Frampton's "Baby I Love Your Way".
Now it's Englebert Humperdink's "Release Me".

"Big Bottoms" by Spinal Tap
Seriously, no, I don't have a song with the current girlfriend yet. I just now realized that. Sucks. Okay, I'll get on it. I'll let you know.
My ex and I had "Hallelujah" ...the Jeff Buckley version.

It used to be "Fly me to the Moon" and now it's Pinks "U and ur hand" Go on. Look at the lyrics. I know you don't know the song, so you won't get the joke. Just look.

Oh gosh...Usivius wrote:wow, that's a great song.Anyway, Paul's and my song is Led Zepplin's The Rain Song...

Now Paul tells me we had the title wrong all these years. Our song is still by Led Zepplin. But it's not The Rain Song from Houses of the Holy, but Thank You from Led Zepplin II.

You're right. I don't know the song and the joke must be flying right over my head. But, from the lyrics, it's an interesting choice, Wadds.
