Slow. High 50s for 10k. My PBs are 4k in 17mins and for 10k is 51mins. I dont mind being slow, as I'm training for a half marathon - I cant run fast for 2 hours! What time you doing?
Do you train Marvin?
When I was playing footy I used to go to the gym and throw around iron. All a waste of time really. Now I stick to mainly circuit training and runs. I also swim and bike a bit. I havn't done any long distance work for a good while, sticking to runs of 3-5k distance because I'm going in the navy and that's what's required for the training. I had my 10k time down to 37 minutes about 6 months ago. I thought I was fast until I went running with some amatuer club runners who knock the distance out in 32! I'd probably be doing it in 40 or so now. I actually have a 10k race next week-end which I'm running with a mate. Anyway, good luck with your half marathon. I ran in one of those last year and I can safely say it was excrutiating
