So I was in a foul mood last night but I'm much better now.

My life is silly. But, heh, so am I!

A good day. It was casual dress at work, as some coworkers and myself arranged to go to a bar for lunch. Had a nice Satay dish. Anyway, bought an expensive WWII boardgame, which was great.

Sunburnt.

I haven't been sunburnt in years. My shoulder blades itch like mad, and when I succumb to attempt to scratch them the agony when my nail touches the skin is shocking each time.

But the fresh mussles from the lake were worth it!

*Tired*. Up late packing every night this week. That's my excuse for succumbing this morning and buying a box of Krispy Kreme fundraising donuts at the Metro station. So far I've had about 5 donuts. So not only am I tired, I've also got a sugar hangover and don't feel like doing diddly-squat. Bleah.

Gotta finish packing the basement tonight. Double bleah.

Tomorrow, way too early, is the yard sale. Triple bleah.

Can't *wait* to be done moving.

Thrilled that it's Friday! I am brunching tomorrow with Lucimay and some other friends. That should be fun. Probably going to do some crabbing on Sunday with BGB. Got to keep him occupied so he doesn't try any more microwave experiments.....

Yep, me too! Watched a couple movies and then went to the Waffle House with a friend. Ended up going to bed around 2:00, full of all kinds of coffee and sugary confections.

Come on over to the Oh criminey... thread over in The Galley to read what Jenn is talking about. Looks like Balon is about to be in big trouble... ;)

Sounds like fun, LF! Just try to prevent old bad habits from replacing new bad habits. Work on the happy medium. Image

See, you did it the right way, LF -- you planned it so you could go to bed when the sugar crash hit!

It's happened to me a few times recently.
Gee...I'm familiar with this concept.

Well, my diet asks for added calories, so I put some extra honey to an already sweet cereal this morning. So I had another sugar crash! Heh.

I'd love to, but I figured I'll be fired as I'm at work.

I'm grumpy again today, but once work is over, I'm going to be happy as it looks to be a full weekend, starting tonight with going to see Jill Sobule play downtown Denver. I've been a fan for well over 10 years, and I've never seen her live. Very excited.

Then playing tomorrow afternoon, and tomorrow evening, yet another BBQ. And then Sunday is Pride Fest, which my girlfriend and I are going to with several of her friends. Should be fun, but probably won't be due to the oppressive heat they are predicting for this weekend.

There's got to be better ways to add calories than just with sugar. What about fresh fruits? Bananas and peaches added to your cereal?

True, but I'm a pooh bear. Nanners are great, though. I love adding raisins too. Haven't done much peach spelunking. Also like the occasional spoonful of blueberry and/or blackberry.

Honey is the best thing in the world, LF. Put it on waffles, put it on apples, put it in your oatmeal, put it on chicken, put it in ANYTHING. Ice cream! Whatever you like!
