I suppose as a mother, I have to think about it. Fortunately, so far there is no sign of interest though. Probably the ASD influencing that.

Who knows what will happen during the month at camp though?

No, AK, you are not invited. We have our standards, after all.

You should be hoping he does develop interest. You will be more worried and sad if he doesn't. However, don't worry either way just yet. He's not likely to tell his parents about any interests he has along these lines for at least a couple more years.

Man, this turns events have been long in the coming. I don't care what they are, I just want them.

Xar, while looking at the list of domains on the Registration thread, I noticed Mutation and Disease are not among them. I assume the list is not exhaustive, Lore wanted things that were not on it, and I can do the same? Obviously, you'd need to approve of the domains I'd like, but it can work that way?

RIGHT?!?! :LOLS: The extra week before deadline really made things crazy.

I've always understood it that the list is a guideline to give you ideas. You can be the god of pretty much anything.

You're probably right. I just never considered it before, because I never wanted this particular domain before, so never looked for it.

...grrr...

Sometimes Bhakti, I just don't want to hear the standard line of hoping he developes normally. I just want it to happen without keeping my eyes constantly on the watch for it...

Oh...gosh. I'm going to post that because it's how I feel at the moment, but...I don't mean to lash out at you. It's after 1:00 am, my alarm is going off at 4:00 am, I'm taking the first shift driving, and I'm already edgy knowing my addiction is not going to be fed for two full days. I should go to sleep, but I can't settle.

I am sorry...

*shrug* It will or it won't and nothing you can do will affect it either way. So don't worry about it.

Brother, not only an additional week before submitting events, but the AllFather was away until yesterday and only started processing them. Have not some Turns taken as long as two weeks before results come back? Have patience.

Darling, some turns have taken longer...much longer. And once, one turn never came back at all...

Anyway, Xar was halfway through last night already, so I'm not too concerned. Just impatient.

At least I can trust you to tell it to me straight, unlike these ESE/IEP specialists and supposed advocates...

I'll still take that cookie. Milk is nice and cold, and it looks like I ain't falling asleep tonight...

*shrug* It's nothing you don't know already. And I'm not invested in it. Short answers are easy. ;)

You can be the god of Grumpy Employees of the City Library if you wanted - but that'd be hard to get approved :P As for the turns, never fear... they will come :P

(double post)

:::signing off from the internet and shutting down the laptop:::

We're loaded up and hitting the road to drive Beorn to camp. If all goes well, Hyperception and I will return home tomorrow around supper time, but I suspect it will be closer to 11:00 pm and we'll be exhausted.

So...while I hope to see y'all tomorrow night, I expect to see you Friday morning. Have a terrific 48 hours y'all!
