Never had a good look at a wombat before. It's impressively cute! Can I adopt one?

Also had never really appreciated the difference between a kangaroo and a wallaby, so it's nice to be able to compare them side by side.
(I do know the difference between an emu and an ostrich, at least...)

I'm kinda partial to Pentax, too, but wow, the K10D? I've been eyeing its cheaper cousin, the K100D, as potentially my next camera, and even that is still a tad pricey for me. I just feel like I need to have a "serious" camera at some point. I realize that wouldn't magically make me a "better" photographer. Guess I'm suffering from SLR envy, as I've never owned one (film or digital). I've also been brushing up on camera history, and I've come to understand that the K1000 was outstanding for its time. The only Pentax I've ever used was my sister's 35mm compact automatic, which she gave me when she went digital. I'm still fond of it.Alynna Lis Eachann wrote:I'm looking to upgrade in my camera-owning. I want a decent film SLR with a drive motor, and eventually a digital SLR. I have a really basic SLR (Pentax K1000) and two lenses for it, but only one of these will work with the digital Pentax K10D that I'm looking to buy.
