Haha, if smoothly translates to sitting on the Watch doing nothing else, then yes. :D

Nah, the weekend was good, really. Just busy.

Yes, Lucimay, I TOLD you to come over. But noooo. You HAD to take a nap. You missed croissant french toast with fresh fruit topping and syrup and butter, homemade waffles with same toppings, fried garlic mashed potatos, bacon, sausage, scrambled eggs and even mimosas. You also missed some fabulous conversation and good company. :| And incidentally there IS summer cake left!

My church band opened up for Belinda Womack on friday. She's pretty damn cool.

I think Bloodguard Bob is planning to drive to the OC to see his parents which means I'll have the house to myself to lounge and be lazy! :P

It's supposed to be hot for the next few days here, so I'm thinking that if I can get a couple of things done around the house by Friday, I'll drive up north to Door County for Saturday and Sunday.

Last week, I took a drive down to the Lincoln Park Zoo, in Chicago, to get in some camera practice. It was my first time there in 40 years.

I've have been allowed a SATURDAY night out with "The Boys". We'll probably use the afternoon cooking, while getting sort of drunk, the evening eating getting drunker and the night playing Nintendo Wee getting shitfaced!

You may be right. Luckily it's not my tv or Wii for that matter.

Btw, thanks for ruining my illusions that the new Nintendo console was Scottish ;)

So my weekend started off good. I stayed at work for FOUR hours of overtime, which kicks ass. So I figure that'll go straight into the new knife I bought.

Other than that, I see a good amount of reading and preparing for the upcoming rockhounding trip ahead.

I'm a cheapass and I would've waited untill I could find one for sure at a pawn shop, but their phasing them out, and I don't want to risk not finding one for a long time.
