Looks like the gingerbread man is sporting a little cellulite. Not to mention he looks a little deranged. Cracks me up.Seareach wrote:
Well, all, crisis averted. I had an interview yesterday, and today they are saying they want to hire me. I just need to get in touch with them and say yes. So hurray. It is 10 minutes from where I live (I'm currently driving about 30+ minutes to work in the morning, and it takes 45 minutes - 1 hour getting home...I don't quite understand the time difference, but hey). And I won't be contract anymore, so I can afford health insurance. I will be paid more than I have for about 4 years, and things sound really happy. The only thing that may not be wonderful are the hours, and conceivably the work, but that's yet to be seen. I'm very happy right now. I hope I haven't jinxed things by saying all this as it isn't yet official.
Okay, Cag out.

Time is a waste of life
So get wasted all of the time
And you'll have the time of your life

Speaking of which....I start a different job on the 17th....this one has tired me out so time for a new company and a new challenge
Will have about a 2 week break inbetween and with mother dearest here for 3 months, will probably haul her down to the south island (i think bungee jumping for her is out of the question though) for a week

I
AM
TIRED.
And injured. But all around pretty damn good. I'm also quiting my job. The one compentent manager we had has been fired, and four other ushers have already quit (which is to be expected) so as soon as I find another job, I'm OUTTA there.
But it's not a bad thing. I'm glad. Without Brannon (my manager) it's a total cluster-fuck there.
Ther camping trip went great, I'll put some pics in the album in a bit, and I only got a LITTLE injured, a nast cut, but I got some GOOD rocks, and some good fires and a LOT of relaxation. So yay.

It must be new-job-week. I'm going to see a man about a job this afternoon. Been in current job one week short of ten years and mostly loved it, but getting too pressurised now and with incompetents in charge, that's not good!
Not sure I want this other job, but it's only one going in my area. No harm checking it out.
