Fairly accurate, and REALLY funny.

Almost like Olympus...

I've seen the phrase before, and have been warned off doing a search on it so I haven't, but...

I had put furries completely out of my mind for years, now they're stuck back in there again.......

Once you know, you can't un-know.

You really don't want to know.

Pssh. I know plenty of people who are not Heinlein fans and still consider Piers Anthony fans lower creatures.

Also, the map is inaccurate. It should also include Heinlein fans feeling superior to Randites.

*sigh*

So now the decision, per an IM session I have going on, isn't if I would regret knowing, but if it is right not to pursue knowlege offered.

True, and how very sad.

Actually, we have a Watcher who's an ex-furry. Maybe they'll step up and share some insights..

I have a friend who was one of the prime movers behind the 'Furry Concentration Camp' on the Something Awful forums, or whatever it's called.

It makes me sad, and yet, somehow, it seems... right.

Do I want someone to share insights?

Something else I'm better off not knowing?

Fer Pete's sake, just read the link. There are much worse things out there. Furries, at worst, are pathetically funny.
"It is not the literal past that rules us, save, possibly, in a biological sense. It is images of the past. Each new historical era mirrors itself in the picture and active mythology of its past or of a past borrowed from other cultures. It tests its sense of identity, of regress or new achievement against that past.”
