there shall be no qualification or direction. you shall write what you call poetry and it shall be good.

cool luci!

and i have one piece to start. i am reimagining it. taking it from the epic poem and liberating it. setting free to live on its own. :)

i could make the rules post on Saturday but if we do october the first week would begin on sunday, thinkin we'd post first week's poem next saturday, the 6th and every saturday after with the last post on the first saturday of november...if we wanna do five weeks.

should we proscribe a line limit or not? (for printing purposes only)

October is a bit soon. :D Group reads, FR, all that stuff. I'd prefer early next year myself. *shrug* Not essential I guess, just my opinion.

No collection necessary Ali, no book either. :D I don't have a credit card or anything, so I can't buy stuff online. And the exchange rate is lousy from my perspective.

Actually, I don't own a single copy of anything with my published work in. :D

Doesn't bother me at all...I know what I wrote. :D

My god, a writer with no ego? ;)

My reasoning for October was that if we wait 'til November, we're running into NaNoWriMo, which it sounds like at least some people here would want to do -- and doing both projects would *definitely* be too much. In December, we're into the holidays, which are crazy. So that puts us into January. Which gives us three months to come up with a zillion reasons to put it off some more. Strike while the iron is hot, I say.

Oh! Luci, let's just do it in here. No guarantee Jay will have the writer's forum set up this weekend.

Oh, my ego is considerable. It just doesn't have anything to do with my writing. :D

Okay okay okay, January. :|

So the stuff would have to be written in the month of January, then? I can't start writing now and stockpiling them? ;)
