I thought they lost all value the second they got tied to the casino games. I don't miss them one bit, and we could still have all the nifty little shop items without the WGDs.

I rather liked having the WGD around. My only issue was that they were far too easy to come by...wait a second...as I recall they were easy to come by because Revan gave me hundreds of thousands of dollars for doing nothing.
Well if it's impossible for anyone to abuse the system I would love to have them back. They are fun and we could certainly use them in the sports forum.

When I had the wealth, I spread it around too.

WGDs weren't around for long after I joined the Watch. And other than my custom title at the time, I was never able to spend them, there was never anything available in the shop.

BUT...

I still remember as a newbie being gifted with my first batch of WGDs. To this day, I have no idea who they were from, and I even asked about how I got so many so suddenly. Nothing made me feel more welcome as a member of the Watch than an anonymous gift from whomever. Even if I was unable to spend them on something.

So regardless of if we have a casino, or shop, or bank...I think the WGDs were great for gifting to people and would love to see them back.

I liked the little trinkets and things that could be bought with them (though there were rarely any in stock) but some people focused far too much on their e-wealth, just as some do on post count.
