Welcome Alan. The tank can be a not so friendly place but it can also be a fun place especially if you wanna stir up some trouble. Not that I would EVER do anything like that.
Now if I could just find a way to wear live bees as jewelry all the time.....

Oh, the Tank isn't that bad - sure it's a place strong in the Dark Side of the farce - but there you face only what you take in with you... along with a metric arseload of snarky sidebar.
Just don't walk in there with fists-a-flyin' if you have a glass chin.

Alan, welcome. Visit often - there is a vast supply of praise, criticism, analysis, jokes, and in general anything Donaldsonian to treat yourself with (or subject yourself ). And in between, there are games, lighter and heavier discussions, and plenty of slapstick BB fun.

Something about having read TCTC sets us Watchers apart from the rest of the population. It's not really superiority, just a shared experience that allows us to enjoy the many things we have in common, and celebrate/discuss the differences.

Again, welcome!

Greetings...

...and a mighty "Hail and well met" to all you wonderful new users.

Hey, there, skorziks.. what part of Jacksonville? I moved from Jax at the beginning of the year. That was a mistake... one that I plan of rectifying at the end of next year. Gotta have time to save for the great rebuilding.

Until that time...

Hey Ouronos,
Me and the Mrs. live on the southside of Jax...not too far from the Avenues mall. I work downtown at Fidelity right by the river.

Oh...

Then you're not too far from my favorite pancake house, if they're still open.

Hello all

Post by MokMike »

Hello,

Long time TC fan. Read the first series when I had knee surgery in HS, given to me by an older neighbor who was a fan. Really grew to appreciate the Land with the second series, and enjoying the ride on the third.

I am Mike, a 36yo father of two from Illinois.

The third series has really piqued my interest on the Viles, Ur Viles, and demondim.

Intersting stuff.

Hello all, I suppose I should post in here as well for it is an honour to join this board.

I started reading the Chronicles in Grade 8 (back in '94) and have enjoyed reading the books numerous times as I always seem to enjoy the books more with each reading.
