Pantheon: The Third Age - Rules and Comments Thread

I'll just remind you, in case you haven't done it yet... new players are requested to send me their email address (via pm or to the pantheon email address) so I can send them the turns. Old players who do not send an email address will receive their turns to the old address - the one they used during P2.
Secondly, before anyone has an idea about that - Pelendra, the Soaring City, cannot be settled through a Revelation (or maybe not at all? who knows?).
Thirdly, for those of you who have not inserted their Prophet's starting location or their Prophet's name in the public Revelation - please send me these informations as soon as possible, because if I do not receive them by the time all the Revelations are up, I will assign your Prophets both random names AND random locations. Even if you already sent me these data, chances are that they got buried in a mountain of PMs, so if you could re-send them I would appreciate it.
Lastly, the Treasury thing. It's not public knowledge - i.e. a god cannot go through the game stats in the Game Thread and look at everybody's Treasury. You will be notified with the turn results. It will be a simple numerical value, from 0 up, the higher the better. Treasury can be used in many ways: assume that 1 point of Treasury is enough to found a small town, or to repair a damaged city, whereas 2 points of Treasury are needed to found a city. War and other disasters will need to be funded by Treasury to repair the damage (though you can choose not to spend any coin on that - you get the consequences, however!). In cases where you can choose whether to use your Treasury or not to fund a war or to repair a disaster, for example, you must explicitly state you're spending the Treasury in your turn orders, otherwise I will assume you are not!

This works for cho.

Thank you, sir. That's what I wanted to know.Lastly, the Treasury thing. It's not public knowledge - i.e. a god cannot go through the game stats in the Game Thread and look at everybody's Treasury. Many waters cannot quench love, neither can floods drown it. There is no fear in love; for perfect love cast out fear.
Nah, they count as one.O-gon-cho wrote:*jaw drop*
Two prophets, Tawhiri-matea? Twins??
Nice move!!!
...I didn't know it was allowed without 3 DRP, but nice move...

Dunno. Didn't really think of it that far. But probably, yes. They'll need to be together to work. Although it's no more "limitation" than all the other prophets. After all THEY can't be in two places at once either!

I still thnk it's a brilliant move!
And once you hit three DRP, I bet you'll be allowed to then split them up (after giving oneDRP up permanently to inbue them so they are each wholly their own prophet).
But hopefully, they can come close to doing so.

He uses five DRP as an example.Tarnished Sword wrote:Thought you had to be five DRP to get a second prophet...
A deity can have up to one Prophet, plus an additional one per three full points of divine rank in his status: a 5-DRP deity can have only two Prophets, while an 18-DRP deity can have up to seven.

*shrug* I had two prophets last time. Xar just killed one.

You do not hear, and so you cannot be redeemed.
In the name of their ancient pride and humiliation, they had made commitments with no possible outcome except bereavement.
He knew only that they had never striven to reject the boundaries of themselves.

Well there ya go, serves me right for not reading correctly.Balon wrote:He uses five DRP as an example.Tarnished Sword wrote:Thought you had to be five DRP to get a second prophet...

Embracing me is to embrace the true way your mind works. Let yourself not be hindered by the false.
