Oi. I'm only ugly on the inside.

Nothing more amusing that watching someone lick through the saccharine coating that is my appearance only to choke on the bitter, bitter, potassium cyanide filling that is my soul.

I think the hardest to accept was that Donaldon himself wasn't some kind of tunnel-dwelling recluse.

We have alot of caves in New Mexico, but all the tunnels get washed out by arroyo floods and anything dwelling in them ends up in El Paso. :P

Yup. See, I was only half-joking when I posted that SRD was having way too much fun at Fantasy Bedtime Hour and that I wanted back my grim and serious author.

But... but.... but.... I love it when SRD laughs. It makes me feel all warm and fuzzy inside. :)

I do too. Partly because it does wreck my view of him from guesswork from reading his books.

As a gift to you all....I have posted 3 pics guaranteed to make ya LAFF, LAFF, LAFF!

Prepare thy tummy muscles, grab a paper sack (to deal with the hyperventilation born of non-stop gales of giggling OR perhaps to puke into), and crack open the Motley Crew Album!!

Nice picture! The caption reminds me of the PBS show Between the Lions, and the cartoon bit Cliff Hanger.

They are, but "Danger" is my middle name.

Seriously, yes they are, however I was bouldering at the time, so I was only about 6 feet off the ground when that picture was taken.

I suppose if you did have an accident, the centre could not be blamed. :)

Is it fun?

Actually, with bouldering you can't harness in (too low, you can't go any higher than 10 feet over the padded floor), and landing on the harness would hurt. And yes, there's a very comprehensive disclaimer I had to sign.

It's a blast. I'm terrified of heights, so in addition to the physical challenge (which is substantial....I had no idea how difficult this was going to be), the mental component is pretty heady as well.

Hmmm, I might give it a go . . . .
