No, no, I'm not emo. I'm Gothic. Not to be confused with Goths. They dress funny and listen to silly music. I dress equally funnily but differently, and just have a general, depressed, "Look on my works ye mighty and despair" sense of fate and humour.

So, after a whole lot of moving we've finally got everything in the new house. Of course, most of it is still in boxes but I'll deal with that later. The new place is gorgeous...I'm all chuffed even if it is small. SoS loves the garden and now has a place to ride his bike and scooter. I have a bungalow. My partner has a shed. What more could we all want?! :)

I've had a grouchy day, but it was rounded off with some good news: the Inland Revenue are giving me a refund. They sent me a letter recently, saying they owed me £24, and the cheque arrived today. But it wasn't for £24. Oh no.

Frustrated. One of my dogs has had problems with allergic dermatitis for almost a year now. Back to the vet today for the next step. He started discussing the possiblity that we may want to consider allergy testing. He refers to a specialist in Birmingham (ok, 60 miles, not a prohibitive distance) and it will run me around 7 to 8 hundred dollars. :faint:

I realise that it could actually wind up being cheaper in the long run to go ahead and do it but damn!

Wonder if this guy would take WGD's?

I feel frustrated. I'm posting from my cell phone. My crappy, old, very cheap cell phone. It has taken me about 20 min to even get this far. But by god i've done it! Woot!

I'm a bit tired and I have a kink in my neck. Stayed up too late last night chatting with some cute foreigner. Oh well, it's nice getting to know people, it was worth it; no matter how freakin early the alarm went off......
