I remember that it started with
"oo-pappa-pappa-oo-mow mow
pappa-oo-mow mow"
and I believe that it was on The Muppet Show
Papa-Oom-Mow-Mow
THAT'S THE ONE!!!

For a moment there, I thought that maybe I was just crazy.
(...oh wait a minute. I am just crazy. But that's something totally different.)

Thanx, now I can sleep tonight.
Have you hugged your arghule today?

He stopped attending, which is sad because he is one of my oldest friends. We've known each other since grade school. I've barely spoken to him for the past year for some reason. I think we are both admitting now the distance in location has come between us, but not really said anything of the sort out loud. Plus, he has a kid and I can't really relate. Last time I spoke with him, he seemed pissed at me for some reason and never quite explained. Maybe I read it wrong. He is doing his own site and a bunch of writing, and people love him. Sad how it happens though. I do still want to be his friend, but I dunno...we have kinda become strangers to some degree. I wish I could move to where he is now though. I'm sure we would pick things back up.sgt.null wrote:#924

Life is a waste of time
Time is a waste of life
So get wasted all of the time
And you'll have the time of your life
Sorry to hear about your friend, Cagliostro. I think the same thing happens to a lot of people. I, too, have a friend that I fell out of touch with simply because he moved away and had a child. I think of him from time to time, and hope to get back in touch with him.
But every relationship is an effort between two people, and if your friend is angry at you he may be waiting for you to make the first move toward reconciliation.
I hope it works out for you. . .
