OK, I'm cookie dough. I'm not done baking. I'm not finished becoming whoever the hell it is I'm gonna turn out to be. I make it through this, and the next thing, and the next thing, and maybe one day I turn around and realize I'm ready. I'm cookies. And then, you know, if I want someone to eat m-... or enjoy warm, delicious cookie me, then, that's fine. That'll be then. When I'm done.

However, I'm not in the oven yet, and if someone has a cookie cutter :P

Hey The Todd, remember when this thread was about TV shows that didn't age well?

Whoa, you just sent me down memory lane. That was a favorite of mine during my adolescent school years. But yeah, the show was kind of hokey now that I think about it.

Some things really are timeless. I had the pleasure of seeing sort of a "best of" of The Electric Company", and that really was as good as I remembered it.

"Zoom" on the other hand......

Agreed on both counts.

The Electric Company strikes me as being timeless.

The funny thing about it is that TEC is so firmly rooted in the '70s, but it still resonates.

never understood the Power Rangers cult. bad acting, worse effects. I'm sure most of our favorite childhood cartoons are likely to prove horrible.

Davey & Goliath is still cool though. Julie got me the dvds for Christmas.

I still like to watch Power Rangers every now and then for the sheer camp value of it. However, the idea of the show and the language used in it just didn't age well.

That and the show was an attempt at racist and sexist subliminal programming:

The guy of Irish Ancestry is the Green Ranger,
The guy of Native American Ancestry is the Red Ranger,
The girl of Asian Ancestry is the Yellow Ranger,
the guy of African Ancestry is the Black Ranger,
the girl of no known pedigree is the Pink Ranger,
and the guy of no known pedigree is the Blue Ranger.

(The real reason for the cult? Amy Jo Johnson)
